  Floating steampunk train

Hello, During the French Comic Con / JapanExpo event at Paris this last week-end, we (FreeLUG members) presented a Steampunk layout, with suspended floating rocks. That was the first part of the challenge. (URL) The second part was to add a train (...) (13 years ago, 6-Jul-11, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.starwars, lugnet.harrypotter, lugnet.trains, FTX) !

  Cereal wagon

Hi, Here 2 renderings of my new cereal transport wagons. I made them first in 7 wide, based on the original model from Helos, see: (URL) but all my trains are 6 wide and they couldn't pass under a overhang on my warehouse. So i decided to rebuild (...) (13 years ago, 22-Jun-11, to lugnet.trains)

  Space Shuttle booster factory

This year, for NALUG's annual train show, I've ended up building a weird custom train car to carry a Space Shuttle solid rocket booster (SRB), along with a factory to build the SRB's. Not exactly realistic, I know. :-) See: (URL) Gray (NALUG) (13 years ago, 11-Jun-11, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.trains, lugnet.town)

  LEGO Kof mit Schleim!

(URL) After reading about this locomotive in an article written by Tim David in (URL) RAILBRICKS 8> and seeing (URL) version> built by Gavyn Rogers, I decided to give it a go. After all, it is the only true LEGO locomotive. (URL) I used pics that I (...) (13 years ago, 3-Jun-11, to lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.trains, lugnet.trains.org.tcltc, FTX) !

  Re: May

(...) Wow, sounds like you have been busy, looking forward to the pics. The trolley is awesome, love the use of the fences and the shaping you did around the front, and the lower part of the sides. Cheers, Janey "Red Brick" (13 years ago, 2-Jun-11, to lugnet.trains.org.tcltc, FTX)

  May

Wow; looks like I missed May. So, a quick recap of May: We decided to recreate Rice Park in St. Paul, MN, complete with The St. Paul Library, The Landmark Center, and, of course, the Ordway Theater. I've already nearly completed the library; just a (...) (13 years ago, 2-Jun-11, to lugnet.trains.org.tcltc, FTX)

  Maersk Train in Australian stores?

Just wondering if anyone has seen this in any Australian store? Preferably in Brisbane? I know Myer has had the steam train around sale times, but I thin that was about 12 months after it was released as an exclusive to the Lego webshop. (13 years ago, 30-May-11, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Need Help Designing a Train Table

(...) COLTC has folding tables. For the most part they are great. They do offer a lot of flexibility for setup and arrangement. Ours fit 3x6 standard baseplates, with a half inch overhang that has never been a problem for the train tracks. We even (...) (13 years ago, 12-May-11, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: Need Help Designing a Train Table

(...) I read your post and was trying to figure out how your tables were connected to the other club tables at NMRA (2006), but I realized after checking the photos from the event, your tables were part of the stand-alone display. Buying the COSTCO (...) (13 years ago, 11-May-11, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: Need Help Designing a Train Table

(...) I think John raises a good point. I have a number of tables that match the wood tables my club built (they were built at the same time as the first batch) and they're sturdy and reconfigurable, but the folding tables are very attractive. They (...) (13 years ago, 4-May-11, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: Need Help Designing a Train Table

(...) Clifton; Thank you for that info and the links. My table is only for personal enjoyment, will not be traveling, and I have a limited space in my garage. I had considered leaving a space in the middle, but your modular idea is really great. (...) (13 years ago, 30-Apr-11, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: ME Models Metal Rails

(...) Well, since the Me tracks are compatible with the standard Lego Track, you can just use the standard parts in BlueBrick. However, I guess soon or later a BlueBrick part contributor will create these Me track parts and add them in the BlueBrick (...) (13 years ago, 30-Apr-11, to lugnet.trains)
