Re: Ever Had Your Train Layout TP'd? lol

(...) Heh heh heh, who'd of ever thunk that TPing someone would turn out to be a mitzva. I thought I had a photo of my coconspirator in the act, but I can't find that shot of Paul now. I've got to say though, tossing those tiny rolls was murder. (...) (14 years ago, 21-Jan-11, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.trains.org.tcltc, FTX)

  Re: Ararat 1972

--snip-- (...) Thanks. That's just what we were after. Something that looked like a real model train diorama made from LEGO. Tim (14 years ago, 21-Jan-11, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: Ararat 1972

(...) Wow that is impressive. I particularly like the way you have ballasted the track and used tiles as ties. That combined with the "straights as a gradual curve" technique make the track look awesome. The quality of everything else matches and (...) (14 years ago, 20-Jan-11, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: Ararat 1972

(...) Hi John, I hear you on the 1x1 plates although I think the ballast round Victoria is quite smooth which is why it doesn't have them. Mike built the track and as one of the most pedantic train builders I know I assume he had a reason ;) (...) (14 years ago, 20-Jan-11, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: Ararat 1972

(...) Thanks. It certainly does take a lot of space although we minimised the brick use by building only what was needed. Tim (14 years ago, 20-Jan-11, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Ararat 1972

(...) And you should be! I like it. Layouts like this make me want to build LEGO trains myself - alas, it takes a lot of LEGO and a lot of space, even for a small layout. But I can dream... (14 years ago, 20-Jan-11, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Ararat 1972

(...) Fantastic layout, Tim! I love all of the details; especially the track (;-), although I do think that you guys need to do a little 1x1 plate greebling around the track beds to break up the uniform stud pattern. Is the plan to detail all around (...) (14 years ago, 20-Jan-11, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: The Bogota Railhead
