(...) Yes, typically that is how it is graded, however, I recently learned that the original article in the 1972 (I think) Model Railroader magazine called for it to be timed. Wow indeed. I have a new criterion for a good train MOC: If you can't tell for sure from the thumbnail if it's the real thing or a MOC, it's a really good MOC! I also love the 3-wide! Peter (...) (22 years ago, 30-Apr-02, to lugnet.trains)
