  Re: Permanent outdoor train

Frank Filz wrote in message <377B9AD9.2620@minds...ng.com>... (...) LEGO tracks are not fit for outside usage and as far as I know there is no standard gauge close enough to use instead. Duplo trains will do better though :-) Eric (25 years ago, 5-Jul-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: California Lego Train Club

(...) Come on now! I'm in the RCN (on HMCS Algonquin...well for 5 weeks more...), and I've managed to have lego onboard ship :). The looks I got were great!!! My block room had a full lego setup...however, my roommate used to pose the minifigs into (...) (25 years ago, 5-Jul-99, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Um...its 3. its not G scale. its 3 scale. The track gauge for standard in 1/22-1/24 is gauge 3. (LGB is 1/22.5, others are anyware up to 1/26). The measured gauge is 2 1/2". Or Gauge 3. Or LBSC's favorate gauge, and the smallest passanger (...) (25 years ago, 5-Jul-99, to lugnet.trains)

Christopher Masi wrote in message <377BB2B3.6439A1CD@c...ne.edu>... (...) Yes. Actually it's 'Dog head'. 'Kop' is sort of slang for head, so Hondekop clearly is a nickname. Eric (25 years ago, 5-Jul-99, to lugnet.trains)

(...) I recommend posting a CFD-style (call for discussion) message.   Re: California Lego Train Club

As you are in southern CA and others are in the North, I proposed having it based in the middle of the state. Sure, it is a drive for each set of people, but not like driving from San Diego to SF or vice versa. On another note, I am part way done (...)   Re: California Lego Train Club

I would like to be part of a California Lego Train Club but as Zonker said I'm one of those who live down in San Diego. I'm more in tune toward a Southern Cal LTC. You know, I'm leaving in a little over 24 hours for a drive from CA to OH and back. I think this time I WILL stop into MOA, rather than drive right past it...should be somewhere around the 13-16th. (...) (25 years ago, 3-Jul-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.loc.us.mn.msp)

  BOB train MPEG movie

I've been having some more fun with the digital camera (that I borrowed). My BOB passenger train has a movie clip, too. But, this time I used a higher image resolution, so this 5 second clip is about 473k. It just shows BOB running through an "S" (...) (25 years ago, 2-Jul-99, to lugnet.trains)
