  Re: set 0113

(...) Thanks for that information, Rosco! I bought once a set 111 from someone who never owned another train set than that and it came with the 2x2 couplings. So 111 and 112 seem to have 2 versions: first with the smaller couplings, later they were (...) (23 years ago, 31-Dec-01, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: set 0113

(...) Thanks for that info. (...) At least no other set came with the equivalent Hamburg Basel Genova of the continental 113 set. (URL) please check out: I'm pretty sure there have to be 1x6 bricks, not 1x8 ones.... Kind Regards, Ben (23 years ago, 31-Dec-01, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: New posters on LegoTrainPoster-page

(...) Thanks for the suggestion! It's there now. (...) Did you look here: (URL) ? Oh, and it is in the "you need these" file ( (URL) ) and is called 2865.dat (...) Looking forward to your picture ;-) Pray for peace in 2002, Jeroen (23 years ago, 31-Dec-01, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.cad.dat.models.sets)

  Re: New posters on LegoTrainPoster-page

(...) Outstanding poster. And thanks for the train set files as well. I do have a couple of questions. Do you have all of the dat files in a single zip file? Also, where did you get the dat file for the 9V train track? I can't seem to find that (...) (23 years ago, 31-Dec-01, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.cad.dat.models.sets, lugnet.loc.nl)

  Re: set 0113

Both the piece with the "hook" and the piece with the "hole" were based on a red 2x4 plate (1/3 brick height). And a question back. Were there any other sets with London/Manchester/Glasgow on the blue 1x8 bricks? (I'm sure I have a few more (...) (23 years ago, 30-Dec-01, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: set 0113

(...) Hi Ben, My 111 (from childhood) definitely had 2x4 couplings, as I never had any sets with the 2x2 ones. I no longer have the set. ROSCO (23 years ago, 29-Dec-01, to lugnet.trains)

LEGO trains at WSHM this weekend

[this stalled earlier...my apologies] from now until New Year's Eve I'll have a Christmas LEGO train layout at the Wash. State History Museum, in Tacoma, Washington. Highlights of the bi-level, snow-flocked layout include 2 towns, my European (...) (23 years ago, 29-Dec-01, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: set 0113

(...) Congratulations! (...) I have heard so before and obviously it is so, that there are at least two versions of instructions, maybe that means there are two versions of "hardware" too. (...) Thanks for that info! I knew about the UK-version of (...) (23 years ago, 29-Dec-01, to lugnet.trains)

  My Christmas Train page

I've put together a small page with pictures from our Christmas LEGO Train at (URL) The track layout image is a bitmap (track designer, clipped and pasted into MS paint = 800+ KB! :-O ) so you may want to wait until next week to check the page, so (...)   Re: My Christmas Tree Train

(...) Gee Kevin, I did not realize how much you are in love. Sacrificing that much of your train layout area for Christmas. :-) My layout is a little different spanning across my building table, ktchen table and a small desk that is going to hit the (...)   Re: LDraw Names for Monorail Parts

  New posters on LegoTrainPoster-page

Hi all, You can find a new photo in the gallery (of a 5 feet tall poster!) and 3 new posters (3 new in the new year) at (URL) very happy and peaceful 2002 for you all! Jeroen (23 years ago, 28-Dec-01, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.cad.dat.models.sets, lugnet.loc.nl)

  New Home Layout (started)

I finally cleaned my LEGO room and cleared enough space to build a small "home" layout. It measeuses 5' x 7.5', has three elevations (table heights), and has 3 independent loops. A picture is worth a thousand words. Overall shot... (...) (23 years ago, 28-Dec-01, to lugnet.trains)

  My Christmas Tree Train

Hi all, Here is my train setup that circles our christmas tree: (URL) track setup is a double level spiral with a siding for another train. The grade is not too bad, but if there are more than 5-6 cars on the train, you need at least 2 motors to (...) (23 years ago, 28-Dec-01, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.org.ca.parlugment)

  Re: Mindstorms on RailRoad?

(...) Yup, that would work too. Sometimes good deals can be had on these if you keep your eyes open. Especially on the blue ones if you're not fussy about color. (...)   Re: Mindstorms on RailRoad?

In that case just put *no* power on the rails (that is, run on some track not connected to any power) and feed one of the (...) (23 years ago, 27-Dec-01, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.trains)

  Re: Mindstorms on RailRoad?

(...) This is a recurring topic in .trains and the consensus seems to be that a mobile RCX brick requires either that it is battery powered (not great for battery life), or that you do surgery on the motor. The surgery that needs to be done is well (...) (23 years ago, 27-Dec-01, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.trains)
