  Re: Rock Raiders Patrol Train

(...) Ray, NICE! I like to see new stuff coming out of the Rock Raiders theme! One suggestion though-Since the train is on a track, why not just use levers (small antennae) as forward/backward controls rather than the steering wheels? It might make (...) (23 years ago, 5-Jul-01, to lugnet.trains)

I'm not a big train fan, but I stopped by lego.com and saw they have a new passenger wagon, a tanker, and another car, but I forgot the name of it... Check them out at lego.com (23 years ago, 5-Jul-01, to lugnet.trains)

  Language for the 6-wide vs. 8-wide battle/debate

This may be my most stupid post ever, but starting now I will write 6 and 8 wide as 6W and 8W respectively, anyone agree with this one?-Harvey (23 years ago, 5-Jul-01, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: RCX Controlled Mobile De-coupler

I've just completed your version of the decoupler device, and I must say that it's excellent! 8-wide train builders may want to modify this due to clearance reasons though.-Harvey (23 years ago, 5-Jul-01, to lugnet.trains)

  RE: Sawnee Mnt. Coal Tipple

Jt This is my second post of appreciation, sorry, Jennifer Clark got the first. This is an outstanding rendition, I mean hey, even ++Lar said WOW, nuf said. My first thought was it reminded me of a kit I built as a kid for my N-scale layout. When (...) (23 years ago, 5-Jul-01, to lugnet.trains)

(...) James, Wow, I'm not really a train person, but this is neat. Are you going to make a company town, some striking miners and Pinkertons? George (23 years ago, 5-Jul-01, to lugnet.trains)

(...) The instructions are included in the lighting kit. Note that you need a motor first, to provide power to the light. (...) I've found it depends on the train. Small trains, or ones with two motors, can go up one brick per section of track. (...) (23 years ago, 5-Jul-01, to lugnet.trains)

Re: One-tenth stud offsets (was Re: Retraction about offset stud on box cars)

(...) Look to the bottom-left of the orange brick closest to you, and read the last paragraph again. Each brick is sat on a 2x2 plate of the same colour (admittedly, this isn't obvious from the photographs). This connects the light grey hinge or (...) (23 years ago, 5-Jul-01, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Wow. That is hands down the best rendition of an industrial structure I have seen yet. You managed to selective compress very nicely and yet kept the proportions *and* the sense of purpose. Wow. Did I say that already? Well, tough. Wow. (...) (23 years ago, 5-Jul-01, to lugnet.trains)
