  Re: Once Again, Legoville...

(...) I have to comment...I used to come home from sea, and find that my Mini-Figs were in all sorts of interesting poses...and I knew that my roommate had been drinking :) (He was good about it though, because I couldn't have cared really...it (...) (25 years ago, 28-Feb-00, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Once Again, Legoville...

Your second city looks a lot better than the first. I think you are on the right track. I have some alternate suggestions that I don't think have been posted yet. Consider learning a bit about REAL architecture. I've found that this has inspired me (...) (25 years ago, 26-Feb-00, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Once Again, Legoville...

One option I've come across is this really expensive paper that people use to print bumper stickers on. It's ultra-glossy and water-proof. The catch is that the ink has to dry under light for twenty-four hours, AND the paper is very expensive, (...) (25 years ago, 26-Feb-00, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Map of Legoville...

Kevin Wilson has suggested that I reduce the number of roads and spread out so I can have more room to develop. I am going to go with his idea, because it's a very good one. I just finished the Gun Dealer; it is made to on the corner and it takes up (...) (25 years ago, 26-Feb-00, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Map of Legoville...

(...) Looks like you hit that one on the head. I kinda like the space in the center of the bottom two plates on the first two rows (ie the left, bottom corner). You could get a kind of five sided buliding there. (25 years ago, 26-Feb-00, to lugnet.town)

(...) Hmm...Office Max perhasp? I'm thinking computer stores and office supply stores. Maybe if you can stumble across them, arts and crafts or school supply stores could be a possiblity. (Hobby/Train stores?) (25 years ago, 26-Feb-00, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Map of Legoville...

  Re: Map of Legoville...

(...) In a word: too many roads, not enough space for buildings. No wonder your buildings don't look good if you have to squeeze them into teh space between roads like that! Try adding a non-road plate between every pair of parallel roads so you (...) (25 years ago, 26-Feb-00, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Once Again, Legoville...

(...) Well, I wouldn't integrate space port and space. Although I have been known to shoot down a few Space Police I Mission Commanders over the town and well...destroy a few buildings. Anyway, what I had in mind was more along the lines of Town (...) (25 years ago, 26-Feb-00, to lugnet.town)

  Map of Legoville...

I have put up a bare-bones map of Legoville at - (URL) should give you all an idea of the space and proportions I have to work with. The three plates to the far left just replaced the Harbor; I have decided that by making Legoville an inland town I (...) (25 years ago, 26-Feb-00, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Once Again, Legoville...

Legoville has a lot of custom made signs, but they don't stick very well because all I use is typing paper and rubber cement. I want to get sticker paper, but where the @$%*! do I get that? (25 years ago, 26-Feb-00, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Once Again, Legoville...

I've toyed around with the idea of making a hybrid city, but it just doesn't stick. I'm a Town fanatic, and I doubt that will ever change. Besides, how do you intergrate Space Port and Space? The two themes are generations apart! (25 years ago, 26-Feb-00, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Millennium City

(...) Looks great! However, the images, especially the map are quite large. I think the map would best be saved as a gif file instead of jpg.   Re: Once Again, Legoville...

  Millennium City
