Re: Minifig scale snow plow, motorized

(...) No need to cover, as David pointed out. Now you improve on his model, that how things work. Iterations after iterations until it's perfect or as perfect as it can be with your collection and or other limitations. When you find nothing more to (...)   Re: Minifig scale snow plow, motorized

(...) I built the train station shown on this picture: (URL) for the BayLTC layout last year. It has a Mindstorm controlled elevator. It uses a regular Technic motor to make the cabin move and two micro motors to open and close the sliding doors on (...) (22 years ago, 17-Apr-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.town)

Re: Minifig scale snow plow, motorized

(...) As they say... imitation is the sincerest form of flattery ;-) I should have suspected, after I saw you using many of the same/similar parts (light blue window, red 4 wide roof, four z24 and two z16 gears) :-) Also glad you could make it (...)   Re: Minifig scale snow plow, motorized

(...) Hi Stephane, Thanks for the praise but I built mine after seeing yours... So there is no need for any head to be covered! Now I wonder if a third motor could be added to control the blade height :-) Greetings, David PS: still in the small size (...) (22 years ago, 16-Apr-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.town)

(...) Tried that, but it's too tight... if I do it, the motor won't be strong enough to power them. (...) The reason why I started this model was because I *thought* no one else had the idea before, but now that I've seen David's model (in reply to (...)   Re: FJ Holden

(...) Everything looks better with chrome. :) The hood took the longest time to get right. I had the SNOT piece in one hand, and the car in the other, and no clear idea how to stick them together. Everything I tried put it 1 plate too high. The (...) (22 years ago, 16-Apr-03, to lugnet.town)

  Re: bug

(...) I noticed that if there is an interest in importing this model Bug into the states, the manufacturer would have to relocate the steering wheel on the other (right/wrong?) side. I learned proper driving in Barbados after a few near misses (...) (22 years ago, 16-Apr-03, to lugnet.town)

Re: Minifig scale snow plow, motorized

(...) You mean like this: (URL) was a litle short on red pieces, so what it gained on functionality it lost in looks. THis model is also a couple of studs longer than the original. (...) that makes two of us:) (...) Wow! Nice car...nice DETAILED car! I love the look of classic cars, but Lego is not ideally suited to do the curves, I thought. I was wrong. Really good job all around. I am really impressed. Joe Meno (22 years ago, 16-Apr-03, to lugnet.town)

Re: Alpha Team's newest sea vehicle...

(...) That was pretty much the image I was going with! I wanted a ship that reeked of power and do circles around anything else underwater...mostly:) "Ahnald"?   Re: FJ Holden

(...) Allister, This is excellent! You captured the form of the FJ very well! I like the chrome fenders and grilles along with the SNOT hoodwork. Great addition to your auto-garage speciality shop! Keep it up! I would have posted last night but the (...) (22 years ago, 16-Apr-03, to lugnet.town)

(...) I've started to download MOC-images that appeal to me for the use in a wallpaper randomizer. A new random LEGO MOC wallpaper each day - sweet! Thanks! Best regards, /Tobbe (URL) SPAM when e-mailing) (22 years ago, 16-Apr-03, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town)

Re: Alpha Team's newest sea vehicle...

(...) What I like about it is the implied POWER in the wings ... they almost look like arms ... in "attack position" (I'm reminded of the Klingon BOP's wing manuverability here) it would certainly remind me of "Ahnald" coming in for the kill!!!!   Re: Alpha Team's newest sea vehicle...

(...) Thanks! The overall look of the SeaHunter was basically a) power, b) weapons, and c) power. This should be able to give a Manta a run for its money. The wings are really hinged because I douldn't make up my mind on how I wanted the wings, so (...) (22 years ago, 16-Apr-03, to lugnet.town, lugnet.space, lugnet.aquazone)

  FJ Holden

Hi again. Cars cars cars - one day I must build a building. Inspired by Robert McLean's minifig HZ ute (whose mirror design I've also used here), and Braith's call to 'keep the Australiana coming', I built a minifig scale FJ Holden. This one became (...)
