The Pelican is a heavily modified SeaPlane built to have all the comforts of home while you travel the world. The discovery wings channels had a special about flying boats all last week and i just had to build one. (...) Yes, and they have changed the bricks under the rails too. There is now a blue 2 x 6 brick at each end instead of the 1 x N pieces, but the old pieces are still included in the set... BTW. And what a cute and lovely set it is!!! Very nice vehicles and town people. Super great "real" buildings. Cool details. And the crane is fine too. I love this set. :-) Lots of playability.
