Re: A cool Victorian House by Susan Michon

Aha! I wondered who built that! I loved it when I saw it yesterday. It has many nice touches on it that the picture just doesn't show off. I hope Susan is willing to post about this one... (23 years ago, 6-Aug-01, to lugnet.town)

A cool Victorian House by Susan Michon

One of our local LUGOLA members, Susan Michon, built this nice Victorian house. She claims that it's her first LEGO building. I'd say that it's pretty darn good for a first attempt! (URL) those of you that don't know the Michons, their two sons are (...) (23 years ago, 6-Aug-01, to lugnet.town) !

Re: Top Secret 2002 releases from Anonymous Source

(...) That's Duplo, and what does it have to do with the topic anyway? We were not making a list of all licenses Lego exercizes the rights too. BTW, No thanks for making people in the south look like morons. (23 years ago, 6-Aug-01, to lugnet.town)

Re: Top Secret 2002 releases from Anonymous Source

(...) I hope that isn't the case for putting out Town sets, that as long as Jack Stone is out.....I hope Jack Stone is a distant memory by next year....we need real and new town sets....I hope the feed-back site reflex this...our need for new and (...) (23 years ago, 6-Aug-01, to lugnet.town)

Re: Top Secret 2002 releases from Anonymous Source

Re: Top Secret 2002 releases from Anonymous Source

(...) LOL. Yep. Then I would have to hurt you. :-) (23 years ago, 5-Aug-01, to lugnet.town)

Re: new lego sets? are they crazy?

(...) There is a very good reason why Shop@Home doesn't have all the sets at 25% off every day. Lego makes the vast majority of their money through the retail chains. And they can't afford to anger those chains. If people know they can go to ToysRus (...) (23 years ago, 5-Aug-01, to lugnet.town)

Re: Top Secret 2002 releases from Anonymous Source

(...) True, some Lego guy will be reading here and say "Why didn't *we* think of that!" And it will all be my fault. heh. (23 years ago, 5-Aug-01, to lugnet.town)

Re: Top Secret 2002 releases from Anonymous Source

(...) DUDE! Don't even joke about that. Next thing we know, lego WILL license it! ;-) (23 years ago, 5-Aug-01, to lugnet.town)

Re: Top Secret 2002 releases from Anonymous Source

(...) Unless they license Tommy the Tank Engine! lol (23 years ago, 5-Aug-01, to lugnet.town)

Re: Top Secret 2002 releases from Anonymous Source

(...) If that is the case with HP, then how did Lego get away with the 10000 legend? I would assume that lego would get a license guite a bit ahead of time before they start actually building HP sets. Jack Stone BETTER not be in the way of town (...) (23 years ago, 5-Aug-01, to lugnet.town)

Re: Top Secret 2002 releases from Anonymous Source

(...) If that is true abotu HP and Castle, then that knocks us out of castle and space and jack stone and juniorization knock us out of Town for some strange reason, then what's left? I guess there's some reason they can't revive Pirates and Wild (...) (23 years ago, 4-Aug-01, to lugnet.town)

Re: Top Secret 2002 releases from Anonymous Source

(...) Why did they stop making Town sets? (23 years ago, 4-Aug-01, to lugnet.year.2002, lugnet.town)

Re: new lego sets? are they crazy?

(...) I agree with the people who think lego should keep Jack Stone as a DUplo set or something on that order, and still have a town or city theme for older people, say from ages 10-up. they shouldnt kill the popular town theme for a newer theme (...)   Re: new lego sets? are they crazy?

(...) remember (...) No, but they used to get by charging about $4.50. Shipping charges didn't used to be huge on the little sets. (23 years ago, 4-Aug-01, to lugnet.town, lugnet.loc.ca, lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: humble beginings of a large Amoco Gas station

(...) I had a Holiday Station in mind too, but no car was there eather. But what if minifigs can get their car fixed there? Don't worry about that though, couldn't fit the garage in the small area, think about the 8 pumps there allready! I'm just (...) (23 years ago, 4-Aug-01, to lugnet.town)

(...) I agree. (...) ? The North American catalog only charges taxes if you live in CT. (23 years ago, 4-Aug-01, to lugnet.town, lugnet.loc.ca, lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: new lego sets? are they crazy?

(...) WHy not have the Jack Stone crap for the step after duplo, as Lego says, but also have classic town at the same time? Doesn't seem so far-fetched to me. (23 years ago, 3-Aug-01, to lugnet.town)

Re: new lego sets? are they crazy?

(...) remember (...) Might be saving money on shipping, but not on Lego. I have wondered for years why Shop At Home feels they need to charge so much for their Lego. Aside from selling below retails and messing up competition and such, S@H should be (...) (23 years ago, 4-Aug-01, to lugnet.town)
