  Just need some advice.........

I would like as many people as possible to tell me their opinion on this: would the desert version of Ms. Gail Storm(aka Ms. Pippin Read) look okay for a male figure? I'm just curious. I was thinking of either making a Jurassic Park from my Lego(tm) (...) (24 years ago, 20-Mar-01, to lugnet.town)

(...) You've outdone yourself again Brad! Very nice! I really like the way you can see the spiral staircase through the large window. The color scheme is great too.   Re: dacta hospital

Hey Tony, not to criticize you, but that fact has been already mentioned, and the fact that the instructions this way make it next to impossible to copy. Wow, what a contest! When I voted, I felt much guilt, because I had to drop some of the greatest models in order to choose only one! Then the voting method changed and I had to re-vote. I did use this opportunity to change my mind on some of my (...) (24 years ago, 20-Mar-01, to lugnet.town)

Can't say I have any memories of Exxon tankers. The first time I ever heard about Exxon was the Valdez incident. Instead we had 671. Same model, different colors. The slopes used to approximate a round shape and the stickers added a sense of realism to the model that was really refreshing for the time (this was one of the sets that ushered in the minifig era).   Fond memories of 554

My first ever LEGO set I got was set 554 (the Exxon fuel tanker) from my mother. In fact, I loved it so much that she bought me another! My warm memories of that are somewhat tainted by the Exxon Valdez incident (just kidding), Anyway, if any AFOL's (...) (24 years ago, 19-Mar-01, to lugnet.town, lugnet.trains, lugnet.general)
