Hi,

I have downloaded the instructions for the “8458 Street Sensation” from
someone who was able to get it from Lego’s "Web Extra" site and arrange it
in HTML format. Unfortunately, this site does not exist anymore. The zipped
file is ~2.2M, let me know how I can transfer it to you, if you want it.

From looking at the instructions, the “8458 Street Sensation” is based on
the original 8458 body. However, the pictures in the mysterious instruction
book reveals a different body. The difference is in the suspensions, at
least. You can also see it by comparing the “8458 Street Sensation” picture
you have posted and the two BrickShelf pictures I mentioned.

It is also not the beautiful car in the pictures, which is a mixture of 8458
and 8466. I do suspect that both cars in the BrickShelf pictures (the real
one and the one in book) are based on the "8458 Truck", again, because of
the suspension format.

Regards,

Avi Parvin

This looks like the Street Sensation alternate model for the 8458 Silver
Champion. The set only comes with instructions for the Silver Champion and
the Silver Truck; the Street Sensation can be built from a set of online
instructions on the Lego website, so I think this guy must have printed • out
a copy from there. In my case my computer is in a different room than my
Lego stuff and I thus never really got around to building that model; does
anyone know what it is like?

I dont have the Silver Champion (yet, but planing to buy), but I found the
scanned instruction on the web. And in the back of the instruction manual
they mention Web Extras (extra stuff for Silverchapion).
See this picture:

I cant log on to the Web Extra (getting an webserver error) page at
http://www.lego.com/silverchampion so I cant confirm that that picture is
the
"Street Sensation" . Maybe other can confirm after seeing this picture?

I would like to have the instructions for that car anyway. Does somebody
have the instruction? Please upload them or email them to me or tell me
other
places I can find it   :)

PS:  http://www.hobby.nl/~afd-amsterdam/brick/index.htm is the best place
for
searching orginal instruction scans. Almost every set that are made are
there.
