Hi all,

About a week ago it was a big surprise for me to find a topic that goes
about my designs. Now I can finally reply on this topic. So this is my first
writing here :)
Both the car and the instruction book are mine, and yes they are not the
same. It surprised me that people already noticed this. Well done!! :)
The car result of the instruction book can be found on

http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=35660

You can also see on this site some pictures of the manual. Unfortunately I
never finished the manual because of some improvements I made to the car. So
the manual is out of date anyway.
I have the improved version in CAD (Solidworks) though because I want to be
able to build the car again.
The car I mentioned can be made of 8458. That's all you need!

The other car however is my latest cardesign and created out of the 8458 and
8466. Pictures are shown at:

http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=35456

This is my supercar with every ability of the 8448 and more...

I hope the problem of the mysterious instruction book with the car is solved
now.
Because of the people who are interested in the book I'll write a new topic
in which I ask all people who are interested in one of the supercars to
react. And if there are many reactions, I defenitely reconsider to produce a
new instruction book.

Got some progress here - I’m writing behalf of Nathanael Kuipers, soon to be a new Lugnet member: “Actually I would like to know how many people are interested so I might reconsider the development of an instruction manual. This is a topic I like to (...) (21 years ago, 3-Mar-03, to lugnet.technic)
