How did you notice this? It's such a minute mistake!
Notice that the opposite mirror in the lower subassembly is fine and in fact
it's the same as the upper one (instead of being a mirror image) except for the
hole. Perhaps that's a clue as to how they actually do the instructions.
Maybe they have a basic brick and they can add holes and other features to it.
