Well, I've tried putting paper into the peg several different ways to try to
make it stiffer, but the paper loosens up after awhile...
Some joints just don't have room (functionaly or estheticaly) for anything
but a simple friction peg, but they have JUST enough weight for the joint
not to hold...
Any other tips?
Thanks

| (...) If you can fit it, use a minifig tool (a thing that fits in the minifigs hand) and stick it in the hole of the friction peg after putting it in place. /Tobbe (URL) (24 years ago, 17-May-01, to lugnet.technic)

| Purists will wretch, but I've found that running a #4-40 screw through the center and securing it with 2washers, a lockwasher, & a nut works *VERY* well... Flame me if you must, but it's better than breaking precious LEGO(R) parts : ) "Steve (...) (24 years ago, 19-May-01, to lugnet.technic)

| (...) Well, I've sometimes used the flexible "tubing" that's used as sheathing for the flex system stuff - shove it through the hole in the pin (it's a snug fit) and (purists & non-modification pundits beware) cut off the extra so it doesn't stick (...)
