Among my myriad talents I'm also an occasional scratch builder. I've
recently made a circular housing by wrapping a flexible strip of plasticard
around a circular former secured by an elastic band and then throwing it
into a sink full of piping hot water. When you take it out after say a
quarter hour the plastic strip is curved, not as tightly as the former
though. You should of course use a smaller former than the curve you want.

| (...) The oven seems to work well too from what I remember, and I'm sure it fitted the mould rather well after being roasted for a while. I have no idea if this is proper procedure, however. Jennifer Clark (24 years ago, 12-Apr-01, to lugnet.technic)
