  Re: compact designs

First of all, I am grateful for the tips so far. Hm, about torque, I will probably need as much as possible, since one drive will be used to the mainboom of the heavy wrecker Iam working on. ((URL) Work-progress And I will implement 2 more drives (...) (23 years ago, 31-Jan-02, to lugnet.technic)

Re: LEGO (r) joins Williams Formula 1

(...) Oh bugger! The news are great, but would be a lot better if the "scuderia" were McLaren... ;-) Pedro (now waiting for lots of studded beams in September) (23 years ago, 31-Jan-02, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: compact designs

(...) LOL, the 1:350 ratio really grabbed my attention when I first read it. 350 rpm sounds reasonable. The MIT link states a measured RPM of 375. I guess it's very dependant on the input voltage.   RE: compact designs

(...) ... repeat 98 times ... "I must check facts I have read before posting to newsgroups" I'd mis-remembered '350rpm' as '1:350 gearing' from the manual for the Motor Accessory set (8735, pg 9), and 350rpm is the 'official' lego number. (...) (...) (23 years ago, 31-Jan-02, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Lego Links Up with BMW Williams Formula 1 Team!!!!

This is great news! So far it was looking like it was going to a sad year for Technic (OK, so call me a Bionicle Burner -just hate those sets) but this has helped me revive my spirits for 2K2. Would be kind of nice to see Lego get together w/ (...) (23 years ago, 31-Jan-02, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.year.2002)

(...) No way! Have a look at this: (URL) new geared 9v motor revolves at a ratio of 1:3.79 (approximate) of the old 9v motor. (...) If you can convince Steve Lane to give up details on his transmission design, I think he can help ;-) (...) Whoa. (...) (23 years ago, 31-Jan-02, to lugnet.technic)

Re: New element in new Biolicle Va sets?

(...) Didn't these black friction/axle pegs come in a classic Space set years ago? I seem to recall having 2 black friction/axle pegs from back then, and now they are in my Technic stuff.   Re: New element in new Biolicle Va sets?

No, the regular Bahrak do not have these new friction pegs, but they do have a new non-friction 3L peg (in light gray as expected). "Huw Millington" <hmillington@cix.co.uk> wrote in message news:Gqrsux.EM4@lugnet.com... (...) (23 years ago, 31-Jan-02, to lugnet.technic)
