Re: Is there such a thing as Bionicle MOC's?

I guess it would have helped if i put it in the correct subgroup :)~ The question still stands.... In lugnet.technic, Tom Inosanto writes: Ok, I went to Legoland today and got the LL exclusive mask, I figured I needed something to use it with, so I (...)   Re: Comic #2 out, Promo listed

Actually, I just got the "Bionicle Power Pack" that includes one of these little guys. They are a lot better than they look: for instance, the body, legs and arms are all seperate pieces. I wish both arms could throw, though. The left arm is made of (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, lugnet.general, lugnet.promo)

Re: Comic #2 out, Promo listed

(...) Why? You can just get the Happy Meal "prize" without actually buying any food. There's even a key for it on the register. I've bought up to 20 toys in a single transaction.   Re: `Why Britain needs more Meccano and less Lego' and longest instructions.

  Longest Instructions?

Just opened my Silver Champion. Now I don't have an 8448 or any Mindstorms but I wondered if the Racing truck alternative model was the first Lego model to crack 100 instruction steps. Is this a record? Psi. (24 years ago, 9-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic)

(...) Alright, alright, i'll do it! ;-) Once we've got the UKLUG page sorted I'll have a go. I've just replied to the message on /. that namechecked me (this fame will quickly go to my head!) so I'll keep an eye on that to assist with targeting it. (...)   Re: `Why Britain needs more Meccano and less Lego'

What we could do with is a short web page 'A quick guide to the basics of Lego' This would be invaluable for people who wish to comment on Lego but do not have the experience we enthusiast's have. It should also address the element of Meccano fans (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.general)

`Why Britain needs more Meccano and less Lego'

Hi all, This is sure to cause some controversy and stir up some discussion on this forum: (URL) discussion of this over on /.: (URL) I'll just sit back and watch the sparks fly, I think.   It isn't the same! (was:Re: scanning for new parts)

I could be mistaken but I'm pretty darn sure it's not the same part! The new (currently yellow) piece has a larger hole through which some kind of u-joint moves. It also has an extra bit of plastic between main body and the extended ball joint, (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Bionicle Promotions

You have to do a scavenger hunt in order to get them. They give you hints about locations, then you have to find the oversized card and mask, write down the missing letter, and then de-scramble the letters to get a word. After all of this you take (...) Well, if that's the crap they're going to be selling at McD in Sept, then they'll get no money from me this time around (I routinely spend well over $200 on McD food when they get Lego).
