I am with you on this one Tom. Had the promo been regular LEGO bricks of
one form or another I would have picked up a bunch of them. I probably
bought more than 50 total the last time around (the McD's near me didn't
require a food purchase to get them). I'll pick up a couple but probably
only when I take my kids to McD's.
For some reason the Bionicle line reminds me of Pokemon with a more
recognized brand name behind it. While LEGO may make a bunch of money on
it, I am not sure the long term association and disdain that many parents I
know have for Pokemon is what they really want.
