Re: how to make skis for bionicles

Do you mean this part (URL) you say "one of the new 1 bend angle beams used in e.g. the battle droid. They have a part thats 7L with an axle hole at one end then a 2l part with another axle hole attached to that at an angle"? -- Duane Drumm posting (...)   Re: Technic Parallel-Motor Assembly Question

nah. That ain't mad. *MAD* is when you put 8 of the new gearmotors in parrallel, gear them down and power them with a pair of 9.6V RC battery packs. The resulting dual-differential drive, tracked robot chassis can move quite a bit of weight with no (...) (24 years ago, 23-Jun-01, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Anyone else UNIMPRESSED with the new tech sets?

(...) A pneumatic valve akin to the average power steering cylinder would be nice. Or even one like the valves on steam engines. Something which isn't too hard to switch & has a very small "dead centre", so you can use it for feedback control. ROSCO (24 years ago, 22-Jun-01, to lugnet.technic)

A little help in the online game?

Well, I rescued Ga-Koro, went to Po-Koro, talked to Haku, the comet-ball-salesman, and Onewa (I think that's the Turuga's name...), and I got the Pohatu-key-thing and went in his cave, where I came face to face with a Rahi Scorpion-type (...) (24 years ago, 22-Jun-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

Anyone else UNIMPRESSED with the new tech sets?

To be totally honest I don't get the whole hype about the new technic sets (the two off-road cars). I mean, what's so great about them? First of all they're cars: by now the most boring kind of set as everything's been done over and over again. They (...) (24 years ago, 22-Jun-01, to lugnet.technic)
