Ok, here is the scoop; it is the control box and transmitter for a radio control system custom built by John Barnes, a frequent poster on lugnet.robotics, which he sent to me just after Christmas. (...) If you took a close look you could see that drive was provided by a geared motor under the cab. Raise/lower was powered by a geared motor in the right side pod. Looking at Dennis Bosman's trucks I'd say it has to be possible, and you should use the tyres he's using: the old solid tyres. The big ones as found in 853 for the truck, and ones like in 8848 for the trailer. Duq "Jennifer Clark" (...) (24 years ago, 5-Mar-01, to lugnet.technic)
