  Crab steering idea

This smaller model may better explain the crab steering design on the telehandler. (URL) (20 years ago, 27-Oct-04, to lugnet.technic)

  Ferry 'Schulpengat': progress

Hullo! Just to report on my current project: a model of the Dutch roro-ferry 'Schulpengat'. Model specs: - I only (plan to :-}) have enough Lego to model the front part of the ferry... - has working Voith-schneider propellor, car-deck doors are (...) (20 years ago, 26-Oct-04, to lugnet.technic)

Not tried, but how about double sided sticky tape instead of glue? -----Original Message----- From: news-gateway@lugnet.com [mailto:news-gateway...ugnet.com] On Behalf Of David Koudys Sent: 26 October 2004 21:30 To: lugnet.technic@lugnet.com (...) (20 years ago, 26-Oct-04, to lugnet.technic)

  Here's a question...

Has anyone attempted to glue the hub to the rubber tyre on the original Technic large tyre or somehow make the tyre stay on the hub better? 3740 Black Tyre 24 x 43 Technic Just wondering... Dave K (20 years ago, 26-Oct-04, to lugnet.technic)

Re: My tribute to my first Technic Set

(...) This feature is the ultimate peeron feature and is always the example I give people to demonstrate the condition the LEGO online community has reached (and to watch their mouth drop :-). Two small notes: (that's for you Dan) 1) In my case I (...) (20 years ago, 25-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.technic, lugnet.inv)

Re: My tribute to my first Technic Set

(...) Thanks for the info Dan! Never had an account at Peerin before--just set one up and am now good togo! I have extra treads if you need 'em--bought 13 service packs years ago when I was endeavouring to build a tank. Dave K (20 years ago, 25-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.technic)

Re: My tribute to my first Technic Set

(...) Just as an aside - if you have your set list entered on lugnet, or on Peeron, you can find out if you have the parts for the bulldozer: (URL) myself, I seem to have all the parts except the treads :) (20 years ago, 25-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.technic)

Re: My tribute to my first Technic Set

(...) Are you bringing these to the show? I'd like to see the bulldozer, having wanted one when i was a kid. I probably have all the parts to build one now, but that's not the same as having the actual set, and I'd like to see one that's together. (...)   Re: My tribute to my first Technic Set

(...) That much is certain. They look a little nekkid without the number. I have a label maker at work and I'll get the numbers printed off just as soon as I get there.   Re: My tribute to my first Technic Set

(...) I love your modified 8448--that's a pretty big engine on the thing--as well with the fibre optics--nice touch! I couldn't keep the engine in the 8448 attached to the drive train after the modifications for RC'ing. So when the car moves around, (...) (20 years ago, 25-Oct-04, to lugnet.technic)

Re: My tribute to my first Technic Set

(...) Very nice work! 854 was also my first technic set! When I first saw your "Marie" doll/figure I had to have one myself. That was almost 2 years ago! She is still in my modified 8448. Nice couch.   My tribute to my first Technic Set

(URL) was having an unusual wave of nostalgia the other day and put together the first auto chassis--956. Having completed this, I found myself thinking about the first Technic set I received when I was a kid--set 854. So I put that one together as (...)   Re: Buying pneumatics??
