  Re: Lego Trebuchet

(...) Thanks :) It was a fun project. (...) Actually in real scale test of trebuchets that were the same size as the old medieval ones it was determined that the rolling did not hurt the distance. It just tended to put less stress on the (...) (21 years ago, 21-Jan-04, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Studless Technic models

(...) Building with the old style of pieces required a lot of pieces to do anything just to strengthen the design enough that it wouldn't rip itself apart. Why is it so much worse that the modern pieces require a few extra pieces if, and only if, (...) (21 years ago, 20-Jan-04, to lugnet.technic)

Rare find? Service Pack 1116 pre-technic chain links

Hi all, I just purchased a sealed Lego (service????) bag with the number 1116 on it (as well as 4074 in smaller font size). It contains 25 pre-technic vintage chain links. You can see a picture here: (URL) have not found any references for this one (...) (21 years ago, 20-Jan-04, to lugnet.inv, lugnet.db.inv, lugnet.technic)

  Re: Studless Technic models

You CAN still get the studded beams. For example, if you want black or yellow, get the Crane Truck. The Inventor sets have lots as well (for example, yellow in the Motor Movers and green in the Record & Play) They arent dead. But I do aggree that (...) (21 years ago, 20-Jan-04, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Lego Trebuchet

Hey, Cool, Very Cool! I think the overall design of the trebuchet is great. If I am not mistaken I think that you can reduce the "rolling" that the trebuchet makes if you make the weight hinged at the end rather than having it fixed. This will make (...)
