Re: 8448 super car inventory by box number

(...) (URL) emptied box-by-box and shot each occation with my video camera (hence the quality). The instructions manual should also help out, of course it wont show extra elements... Best regards, /Tobbe (URL) SPAM when e-mailing) (22 years ago, 10-Mar-03, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Power Pullin' With My Tractor

(...) You could double all the z24 gears and link then togheter with friction pins and/or cross axles. Or, you could boil them: (URL) don't blame me if it wont work with the old z24's and it will certainly ruin any warranty :) (...) See this (...) (22 years ago, 10-Mar-03, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: New MOC supercars

(...) Hi. My first lugnet post for quite awhile, so delurk. I really would like an instruction book for "the car". It looks awesome! I can actually say that I am going to release my 2003 williams f1 car sometime this week, and If anyone wants (...) (22 years ago, 10-Mar-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.loc.au)

  New MOC supercars

Hi all, It was a big surprise that I recently found a topic with pictures of my work. (URL) I couldn't wait to give some reply. It seems that some people are interested in my work. Thanx for that!!:) The story is that once I started an instruction (...) (22 years ago, 9-Mar-03, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Heavily modified 8880 chassis, succesfully motorised and solar powered.

Updated .ldr is ready, in case anyone cares... The (non-lego-) motor is located on the 2 yellow 1x8 plates over the rear axle. That 16tooth gear you see 'floating' in the air on the 24tooth gear is on the motor's axle. The motor is connected to the (...) (22 years ago, 9-Mar-03, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Heavily modified 8880 chassis, succesfully motorised and solar powered.

(...) Nicely ambitious idea, but I don't nearly have enough lego to make it reality. Right now it's just a 8880 derived solar car for me. :) Today at about 16:00 the sun decided to come out a bit. There were still some very thin clouds, and the sun (...) (22 years ago, 9-Mar-03, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Unknown Instruction Book

(...) Hi all, About a week ago it was a big surprise for me to find a topic that goes about my designs. Now I can finally reply on this topic. So this is my first writing here :) Both the car and the instruction book are mine, and yes they are not (...) (22 years ago, 9-Mar-03, to lugnet.technic)

Re: 8448 super car inventory by box number

(...) Although I got it MISB, unfortunately didn't keep an inventory of each box when building it. However, I know the general modules built by each box, I hope it helps you: Box 1 - frame Box 2 - steering + front wheel assembly Box 3 - differential (...)   8448 super car inventory by box number

Hello..I was wondering if any you had an inventory of the 8448 super car separated by box number? I got a used 8448 and would like to sort the pieces into their original boxes. If you have it, I would very much appreciate a copy. Thanks Ramy (22 years ago, 9-Mar-03, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Power Pullin' With My Tractor

(...) I don't have any new style 24t gears. My newest lego set is the 8880 supercar from 1995, that has now been dusted off and mutated to serve as a school project. :) (...) New style 24t gears would be fine, as long as they're compatible with the (...) (22 years ago, 8-Mar-03, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Power Pullin' With My Tractor

(...) Dude, this is old! :-) (...) That's been my experience too. Especially with the old-style 24 tooth gears. In fact, the axle support kinda warps as the axle rotates out. And then sometimes it just breaks. Just use the new style 24t gears. The (...) (22 years ago, 8-Mar-03, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Power Pullin' With My Tractor

Sorry for digging up an old thread ;) In the solar car I'm building (see the 'heavily modified 8880 chassis' thread) I've so far broken 3 old style 24 tooth gears. (among some old style 12 tooth crown gears, but that's no surprise really...) The (...) (22 years ago, 8-Mar-03, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Heavily modified 8880 chassis, succesfully motorised and solar powered.

Re: New Technic Sets & Bulk Discounts on S@H

Hmmm, me too - so I thought it might be useful to check out what is and isn't currently available on the website: I'm ignoring the stuff under 'Now Reduced', as the general items on discount are too numerous to list and vary too much and (...)   Re: Heavily modified 8880 chassis, succesfully motorised and solar powered.

While that automatic transmission looks very good indeed, I don't think it's very well suited to this kind of car. I also wouldn't have enough parts to build it into the chassis. Today I've done another 2 rebuilds of the gearbox, so I don't have any (...) (22 years ago, 7-Mar-03, to lugnet.technic)
