  My beautiful methods of storage

Ahem.... yeah. As you can see, I store my lego *very* neatly. (URL) first two show my lego-porch, where I keep some of my lego against my will. There's just not enuff space in my room, which is shown in the next three pics. I'm very organized, can't (...) (24 years ago, 21-Jun-00, to lugnet.storage)

  Rolykits

I was wondering if others are using Rolykits for portable storage? I have 2 of them and don't know what I'd do without them. I can't find a simpler way to move small amounts of Lego from one place to another. I'll probably invest in a pair of Deluxe (...) (24 years ago, 17-Jun-00, to lugnet.storage)

Cold testing (was: Re: More Heat Testing)

(...) A cold test, huh? Sounds reasonable. I'll start it tonight with a variety of bricks. Pics will follow. Perhaps this should also include the sacrificial Timmy or Jar Jar. I'll have complete results by the end of the week. -Dave (who is quite (...) (24 years ago, 17-Jun-00, to lugnet.storage)

  Re: More Heat Testing

Well, this was a while ago but I just found it, so sue me. :-) (...) And MUCH more so if they were there for days, or months. Too bad I didn't think of that before I left my bricks in Israel... I hope they're alive when I reunite with them (next (...) (24 years ago, 4-Jun-00, to lugnet.storage)

  Official Lego storage

A few days ago I unearthed some official Lego storage trays at my parent's house (currently used for pens, sellotape etc). I would like to know their origins and as I have not found any reference on LUGNET, could someone possibly enlighten me? (...) (25 years ago, 18-May-00, to lugnet.storage)

  Re: Help! Mildew "infection"

(...) Get them out of the cardboard boxes, and store them in those large rubbermaid (or other) storage containers. Sizes may vary, but they are best for your bricks. If you don't plan on accessing them immediately, seal them with packing tape. Mine (...) (25 years ago, 24-Apr-00, to lugnet.storage)

  Re: Help! Mildew "infection"

(...) [...] Ok, that'll handle the mildewy stuff in the closet itself, but I have a sinking feeling that the rest of my Lego boxes also will start to smell of mildew. Is there any good way to fix that? (If there is, I can clean up new acquisitions (...) (25 years ago, 24-Apr-00, to lugnet.storage)

  Sorting and Creativity

One thing I have worried a little bit is whether the way I sort would inhibit creativity (either by hiding parts or by making it take too long to find parts). I'm happy to say that my sorting methods in no way inhibited my creativity when I created (...) (25 years ago, 4-Apr-00, to lugnet.storage)

Good, cheap storage boxes at Home Depot

Our local Home Depot (Albany, NY, USA) has a good bargain for Lego storage boxes: Tuff 'Tainer by Flambeau Products Corp, Middlefield Ohio, 44062, 800-232-3474. These come in two sizes. I like the larger of the two. (Part #5004)The outside (...) (25 years ago, 27-Mar-00, to lugnet.storage)

(...) I think I want to try a set just for the heck of it. The site seems basically a brochure, do you have a US distributor or a way to order a set? (25 years ago, 22-Mar-00, to lugnet.storage)

  BOX-4-BLOX

Have just looked at past postings and with all the hassles involved with sorting and storing Lego blocks, I can't believe nobody has ever mentioned the BOX-4-BLOX. Take a look at www.box-4-blox.erg.co.nz and let us know what you think. (25 years ago, 20-Mar-00, to lugnet.storage)

Re: Lego storage with good availability in the UK
