Well, that "cab" (is that the same as a cockpit, cause that's what I'm talking
about) looks a LOT more like the actual MF cockpit...it also looks like there
was an attempt made to have a walkway from the middle of the ship out to the
cockpit...I was not a big fan of the original MF (I still can't figure out how
my Wal-Mart had lots of them in September, and all of the sudden they
disappeared around Christmas..)
...and that 8x8 cone...now what else could Lego use that piece for? hm..new
Lunar Lander (minifig scale)...minifigs fit in that cockpit..hm...wonder if you
can fit 3 astronaut figures side by side, and make an Apollo Command
Module...new NASA Discovery sets...hm..2004-1969=35...35th anniversary of the
moon landing? hm...ok, smelling smoke from gears turning...must stop...
plus..how cool would one of those look on top of a moonbase module?
regardless, I think the new set has a much better look to it than the old one..I
think the old one was designed as a playset, not as something to swoosh around
the house. Plus, if the UCS snowspeeder is what I think it is, it's really cool
looking..
just my $.02
