That's what I was thinking, a 1x10 ... but I want to keep the sturdiness for
playing (I zoom the thing around a lot).
Nothing real sturdy comes to mind, but maybe I'll go play around a bit. I
wonder if we can't get LEGO to do something about it? I found a reference
photo at Starship Modeler and the wings are supposed to go all the way down.

| In answer to my own problem, I busted out Sebulba's pod and used 4 black 2x2 'L' plates and a dk gray 1x8 plate for each wing. My solution (sorry, don't have a .dat file) is this: Take off the offending lt gray 2x10 plate. Attach the 'L' plates like (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars)
