  Re: New Stormtroopers

(...) You can already make a Bespin Luke. Take Luke's head and slap it on the body of the ground tech from the X-Wing set. The tech is wearing pilot's ground fatigues, and that's all Luke was wearing on Bespin. If and when Bespin sets come out, I (...) (24 years ago, 24-Oct-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: New Stormtroopers

(...) I think that there is something of an inverse relationship about this Luke fig. - he is the most marketable character to parents/young kids who aren't necessarily big fans. Luke has maybe a dozen different costumes - farm boy, pilot, Jedi in (...) (24 years ago, 24-Oct-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: New Stormtroopers

(...) But is it young Obi-Wan you're concerned about getting, or the brown hood? I don't care about young Obi-Wan. I *do* care about the brown hood. (...) Don't forget that this is also the only set in which you can get an "A New Hope" version of (...) (24 years ago, 24-Oct-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: about chewie in the atst

(...) If that's their marketing strategy, how do you explain the figs in the TIE Fighter set (Stormtrooper and TIE Pilot)? Assuming, of course, that the black blobby fig isn't Vader. eric (24 years ago, 24-Oct-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: New Stormtroopers

(...) It *has* been the case with Star Wars. The only young Obi-Wan minifig is only in a $50 set. The only source (currently) for Princess Leia and C3P0 is the Millenium Falcon (a $100 set). If you discount the minifig collectors sets, then (...) (24 years ago, 24-Oct-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: SW parts used in Life on Mars sets?

(...) Like others have mentioned, that has been the rumor, but I've never heard/seen/read a confirmation or denial. On the boxes, there is a disclaimer: "All Star Wars elements are property of Lucasfilm Ltd. and/or Lucas Licensing Ltd." This has led (...) (24 years ago, 24-Oct-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: about chewie in the atst

In lugnet.starwars, Jonathan Wilson writes: they need to (...) That's probably correct, but I'd bet that it's also a matter of character recognition - your average parent non-SW fan will be more likely to purchase a set with a "loveable" or popular (...)   Re: What color do you think they will be was:(Re: New Stormtroopers)

Not bad, Greg. I 'd suggest using a dark gray aviator's cap if you have one. I think one comes with the Podrace set, so they're probably not all that common. ~Mark (24 years ago, 24-Oct-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: SW parts used in Life on Mars sets?

(...) That rumour (about no space themes while Star Wars was being produced) was never confirmed through official LEGO sources- and given the presence of little, umm, blue men in the Mars line, I'd say it was greatly exaggerated. On another note, I (...) (24 years ago, 24-Oct-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: What color do you think they will be was:(Re: New Stormtroopers)

(...) I have found a decent way to do an AT-ST pilot: Hoth Trooper torso, beige arms, black or brown hands, brown hips, beige legs, and a brown aviator cap with black goggles. Greg "On the boar of car" Majewski (URL) (24 years ago, 24-Oct-00, to lugnet.starwars)
