  Re: My E-Wing MOC

Hmmm...I'm curious as to why hardly any one has noticed my post. Ok, please let me know what you think, and don't hold back! Adam (...) (24 years ago, 29-Sep-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Finally got an MTT

I like it overall, and it's the best brown service pack I've seen this year. The physical rendering is fairly decent, however I disliked how flimsy the connection was between the front and back units. The color scheme is ok, I would have preferred (...)   Space and Arch photos (was Re: BrickShelf error )

(...) Spaces aren't allowed? Oh - OK - <tries again with no spaces...> Hey - It works. Since space was the problem, I uploaded my photos from the Air & Space Museum that I shot on my visit to Virginia. :-) (URL) photos that I was trying to upload in (...)   When are the new sets due?

I thought we usually see sneak pics in October with the first wave hitting in November and a little more in January. Any clues how the schedule usually goes? Jason F. (24 years ago, 28-Sep-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Star Wars customs

(...) I. It has a solid look amd feel to it. Your use of slopes in the lower half and Hinge bricks in the grey portion of the body near the guns give a nice flow to the design. I would be curious to see more done with your Mos Espa scene such as (...) (24 years ago, 28-Sep-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Star Wars customs

hello. i made a few swlego customs on mlcad. i actually made them, but it was easier to make them on mlcad than to wait to get pictures taken of them. there's my slave 1, a-wing, skyhopper, and mos espa scene.please tell me what you think. adios, (...)   Re: UCS X-Wing Q's

(...) Thanx Mark, I tried working on the gearbox last night, but no luck :[ Going by the instructions, the lower foils end up higher at the tips. So by tweaking the gears one tooth lower for the lower foils, they end up drooping down at the tips, (...) (24 years ago, 28-Sep-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Padme Naberrie

(...) Yeah. I like that George is on the helm because I think he has a stunning imagination, and his visualisation of effects shots and dynamic storytelling are incredible- so having him be the ultimate authority as far as what goes into the movie (...)   Re: Padme Naberrie

(...) There again we see Lucas' poor skills of character direction. Granted, Vader presents some pretty big shoes to fill, especially for such a young, untested actor, but this is all the more reason that George should have been more conscious of (...)   Re: Padme Naberrie

(...) At least Harrison Ford could pull off 'push the buttons and flip the levers' convincingly. Unlike a certain young actor, portraying a podracer pilot. I swear Lucas reran the same footage every time Anakin flipped the toggles on his podracer's (...) (24 years ago, 27-Sep-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Pirate Podracer MOC

Even if you dont have a scanner, or a digital camera or web knowledge or even a normal camera, you can always buy a disposable camera and then send the shots off to someone here who knows how to get them online. (24 years ago, 27-Sep-00, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build)

  Re: Pirate Podracer MOC

No rigging pieces for now, although I wanted to work them in. I still might. The palm leaves are the steering vanes. The steering wheel is a brown technic pulley (wheel from Twisted Time Train) because I don't have a real pirate wheel (I just (...)   Re: My E-Wing MOC

That's a very good rendition of the E-Wing, Adam. It looks like it would fit in well with the rest of the SW line. I prefer models that fit in with the models put out by Lego to the large elaborate ones people create. Though the elaborate ones are (...) (24 years ago, 27-Sep-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  My E-Wing MOC

Hi all, I recently got a scanner, and decided to take some pictures of my MOC E-wing, although they didn't turn out very well. Anyway, I thought I'd share them here: (URL) pictures are fairly large, sorry. Please feel free to take a look, and let me (...) (24 years ago, 27-Sep-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: UCS X-Wing Q's

(...) Yes, the model kit designed worked well enough (I may try that setup for a minifig version) but I think TLG wanted to incorporate some sort of geared mechanism as opposed to just wings that you pull apart and snap together, thus lending it (...) (24 years ago, 26-Sep-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Padme Naberrie

  Re: Padme Naberrie

(...) If viewers do, then what? Just curious. To me, it seems to be the same kind of situation as you mention in RotJ. But, as I said, it's a little clearer in RotJ that Vader *is* using the Force and *isn't* just saying something that is true, not (...) (24 years ago, 26-Sep-00, to lugnet.starwars)
