  Re: For the Record

(...) What did you ask Brad and what was his response? Has a date gate been passed? Or was the problem simply the pricing and/or set numbers, and having names is OK? And why the heck doesn't Brad post himself and tell people that they can start (...) (24 years ago, 19-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: The 2001 lineup (list on FBTB)

This new list with figure information just doesn't make sense to me. . . (...) Yes, we did. I have a hard time believing that we will recieve a vehicle with 11 minifigs(if you can call them that) for ten bucks. Lego would never be so generous in a (...)   For the Record

When I received the new information, I asked Brad Justus if I could run with it. I am not in the habit of "defying LEGO". Tim Saupé Webmaster, "FBTB (24 years ago, 19-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)

I stopped in a TRU today and found an old Castle polybag on a peg among the new Arctic and Castle bags: (URL) was filthy, but still sealed. They've been moving the gondolas (shelving) around and probably found it underneath one of them. It wasn't in (...)   Re: The 2001 lineup (list on FBTB)

(...) If you watch the movie again, you'll see these briefly whoosh by when the high ranking battle droid is talking to a hologram on his AAT, this is during the landing seen on Naboo with all the MTT's and AAT's and what not coming out of the (...) (24 years ago, 18-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: The 2001 lineup (list on FBTB)

(...) I think this is a small hover cart type thing. The main interest is that it will be cheap and will have plenty of battle droids. (...) Tim got in trouble for posting the list before, so either he's decided to defy authorities or more likely (...) (24 years ago, 18-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: The 2001 lineup (list on FBTB)

Re: The 2001 lineup (list on FBTB)

(...) Just post a link like mine: (URL) has _publicly stated_ that such a link is OK. Perhaps a link to the FBTB site would be nice (I don't have it bookmarked) James (24 years ago, 18-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: The 2001 lineup (list on FBTB)

(...) I don't know what this is exactly either. The only thing that comes to mind is a heavily juniorised version of the Droid Landing Craft. (...) I wouldn't get your hopes up too much. I expect to be disappointed with this one based on its price (...) (24 years ago, 18-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)

The 2001 lineup (list on FBTB)

Well, I noticed that the 2001 lineup has been posted over at From Bricks to Bothans, so I guess it's okay to discuss now... just in case though I'll speak in generalities... <G> I'll discuss in the order listed on FBTB: 1) This one's not a big (...) (24 years ago, 18-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Future UCS Star Wars Kits

I don't really like the current UCS offerings that much. I think they look clunky and lack imagination in their execution... However...   Re: My prediction on how the AT-ST walker looks like

UCS AAT, thats what I would be waiting for. I would like to see how Lego would deal with the Hull. More rebel figs would really help us collectors, probably some from Hoth in other sets other than the Snowspeeder because having a bunch of (...) (24 years ago, 17-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)
