  Re: 2001 Sets

(...) Maybe their idea of an exclusive figure is to "accidentally" give him black hands. ;P I vision the shuttle to come with two imperial guards and the Emperor with maybe a different torso (Darth Maul's). If they were to make Shuttle Tyderium, (...) (24 years ago, 9-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: 2001 Sets

(...) Even better than a three pack, now with Lego direct lets just set up stormtrooper bulk ordering. Seriously how many of us need at least a couple dozen stormtroopers to set up a scene or two (the first dozen is for dead stormtroopers strewn (...) (24 years ago, 9-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: 2001 Sets

(...) Lego would not include the emperor in the shuttle tyderium set because the emperor is a "mini-fig pack exclusive" so it would probably be the hijacked rebel shuttle or Vader's shuttle. Michael (24 years ago, 9-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: 2001 Sets

Well, Since we are supposing the hypothetical escape pod set might only cost under US$6, this may not make sense. Anyway, it would be cool: How about if the escape pod did come with an imperial search squad. There could be a stormtrooper on a (...) (24 years ago, 9-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: 2001 Sets

(...) :) (...) Yeah, but wouldn't the Escape Pod be a pretty small set, say around $5.99? That would probably mean it'd include a maximum of 2 characters, & wouldn't they most likely be R2-D2 & C3-P0? (...) Yeah, if we're assuming an Imperial year (...)   Re: Where Brooklyn at? (Was: racial politics, black pack, etc.)

(...) Except the first movie, where finding a non-european face is almost impossible. I think this happened in part because it was shot (mostly) in England, but Lucas was roundly criticized for it. Bruce (24 years ago, 9-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: 2001 set info

(...) I have one reason why Lego may get the ATST under $10.00. Can you say Throwbot. Those are only $6.00 and would be not too much under ATST size, especially since the Lego one will be smallist anyway. Tim (24 years ago, 9-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: who's feelin the black pack?

(...) Somehow, I suspect it's more like a homogeneous white society (Denmark) being completely clueless about the rest of the world. They chose yellow because that was the standard Lego color closest to their perception of "flesh". I don't see this (...) (24 years ago, 9-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: 2001 Sets

(...) Well, I'll just mention a few scenes that had Stormtroopers in them and if they happen to be scenes that might be made into Lego sets at some point in the future, so be it... 1) Stormtoopers tracked down the Escape Pod on Tatooine while (...) (24 years ago, 9-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  rare elements...

Isn't it strange that some of the LEGO elements in the SW sets never showed up in other themes or even sets as well. I am thinking about the yellow pieces from Anakin's Podracer and the brown elements from the Droid Fighter here. They look like (...) (24 years ago, 9-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: 2001 Sets

  Re: 2001 Sets

There already is an Emperor... So with a shuttle, yes. (...) (24 years ago, 9-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: 2001 Sets

(...) I think a TIE pilot is a certainty (if it is true that there will be a TIE fighter set). Also, Yoda is the biggest character not yet represented. Jeff J (24 years ago, 9-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: 2001 Sets

(...) Here's my <fingers crossed> hopefuls for minifigs. Watto (hopefully not prefab like Sebulba) Maybe a C3P0 with the Ep. 1 look The Emporer, and (please, oh please) Emporer's Guards A couple stormtroopers (look sir, droids) AT-ST pilot and (...) (24 years ago, 9-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  2001 Sets

By now most of us have seen the list of the upcomming Star Wars sets with their prices. (if you haven't yet don't go surfin' around our friends at Lego yanked them). My question is now that this information is not allowed to be posted, how much are (...) (24 years ago, 9-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: who's feelin the black pack?

All right, let's get to answering a REAL question: Why doesn't Lego put out a "Star Trek" line???!!! And if they do, I hope that green-blooded Spock is YELLOW! (Except, of course, for his blue uniform shirt and black pants.) Long live Lego! (...) (24 years ago, 9-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)
