Re: A good use for Jar Jar figs.

Give poor Jar Jar a break! An orc! How demeaning! I am actually using him in his original incarnation as a bouncer at my "Star Wars" themed night club. (25 years ago, 15-Apr-00, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.castle)

  Re: What makes a minifig?

(...) Sorry for leaving it out in the first place. Here's a good view of all four models: (URL) use the links below the image to see the different varieties from various angles. HTH T (25 years ago, 14-Apr-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: What makes a minifig?

(...) Aye, the 1x2's are supposed to be backpacks. The Naboo Swamp set is supposed to be around the same period in the movie as when the Trade Federation Army assaulted Naboo (when fighting the Gungans.) Those Battle droids had backpacks, and since (...) (25 years ago, 14-Apr-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: What makes a minifig?

(...) Thanks for the info, Dave. I hadn't realized there was a difference between the Battle Droids in the Naboo Swamp set and those in the Naboo Fighter set. I may have to pick up a Naboo Swamp set next time they go on sale. Up until now, I didn't (...) (25 years ago, 14-Apr-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: What makes a minifig?

(...) Can you provide some of those web references? Thanks (25 years ago, 14-Apr-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Yet Another Episode 1 Question

(...) I didn't get it early on, but I did get the idea that something was amiss before they started bludgeoning us with hints... I'm also terrible with faces, particularly after you paint one of 'em, so I didn't even realize they were the same (...) (25 years ago, 14-Apr-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Overuse of Star Wars elements?

(...) Hey TLC spent good money on those molds. You better believe that they would want to get their money's worth. :-) -Duane (25 years ago, 14-Apr-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Overuse of Star Wars elements?

Is it just me, or does The Lego Company seem to be putting an awful lot of effort into putting "Star Wars elements" into Star Wars sets? Does every Star Wars set _have_ to have an ion cannon in it? Or an X-Wing engine? Sometimes it seems like a bit (...) (25 years ago, 14-Apr-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: What makes a minifig?

(...) Actually, the standard issue trooper battle droids ALWAYS wear the backpacks. None of the other droid types wear them at any time. Most of the droids that you see on the DCS & all droids on the other TF ships are either security, pilots or (...) (25 years ago, 14-Apr-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Logo images (was: Re: Darth Maul)

(...) Jaco, Thank you for changing the image to a legitimate one. The image that you were displaying on your page yesterday was a copy of this one: (URL) isn't part of the set of button images for people to use). Your <IMG> size attributes via (...)   Re: 7184 MTT In My Hands!

(...) :-) It's not my getting it first that'll make you wheeze, though...it'll be the 20-something brown 1x10 bricks, or more likely all the 6x10 and 4x10 plates...this is one incredible set!! Good news....S@H gave me 20% off my 7191 X-Wing (...) (25 years ago, 14-Apr-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Site and Contest are up

(...) Vessel". You mean vehicles from Star Wars which have not been (seen) built before in LEGO? This is a bit unprecise to me. I'm sure that for any Star Wars vehicle, there is some guy who have built it in LEGO. Can we say "vehicles from Star Wars (...) (25 years ago, 14-Apr-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Darth Maul

(...) doesn't (...) Hi! The image is right, but the size in the HTML code is wrong! If you would view it by looking at it's URL (URL) you'll see that is is a legitimate picture. Greetingz... Sjaacko (25 years ago, 14-Apr-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.loc.us, lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.starwars)

  Re: 30377.dat Battle Droid Arm

Re: 7184 MTT In My Hands!

(...) Frassin' sacca' rassin'...(insert Muttley wheeze here) It looks like you win, Dave. ;) Mine will probably arrive tomorrow or Saturday, then. best Lindsay (25 years ago, 14-Apr-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: What makes a minifig?

(...) Incidentally, how would/have other SWLego folk taken care of this one? --dave (25 years ago, 14-Apr-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: What makes a minifig?

(...) Yeah. The BD's with backpacks aren't aboard the Droid Control Ship, so they need transmitter packs to keep functioning. As stated elsewhere, the BD's from the Naboo Fighter are in the DCS Hangar (25 years ago, 14-Apr-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: 30377.dat Battle Droid Arm

(...) I'm not positive, but I think the R2-D2 may be part of a larger class of Astromech droids. (Not all R2 units have hemispherical heads like R2-D2.) C-3PO (and TC-14) are Protocol Droids, IIRC.   Re: What makes a minifig?

(...) Sorry, I got mine in Naboo Swamp; check (URL) you can just see the plates on their back. Are there any Ep1 experts out there who have an explanation for the discrepancy? --Dave (25 years ago, 14-Apr-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: What makes a minifig?

(...) Huh. None of my Battle Droids came with a 1x2 plate for their backs. There are a couple of studs to which I can attach a plate, but no plate came with the Naboo Fighters that I have. Did you get your Battle Droids with this set or another one? (...) (25 years ago, 14-Apr-00, to lugnet.starwars)
