  Re: AT-AT online at S@H

(...) Luke's flying the lead on the mission and his Snowspeeder has dark grey markings. The rest of the squadron all have the orange markings. Whenever we see what Luke's doing, it's usually an in-cockpit view of him. In fact, he doesn't do a lot (...) (21 years ago, 16-May-03, to lugnet.starwars)

  BioniWars: CloneToaper

If you've seen one, you've seen them all. Good thing, because I only made one of them: (URL) And you would not believe how hard it was to get the muzzle flash to glow for the header shot. I'm glad this is the only one whose gun shoots a blue (...) (21 years ago, 16-May-03, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build, lugnet.starwars)

  Re: AT-AT online at S@H

(...) Yes. In the movie Luke's Snowspeeder is almost completely grey, while all of the other Rogue pilots fly Snowspeeders with orange color blocks. The only two correct Luke Snowspeeder toys that I can remember ever being released are the (...) (21 years ago, 15-May-03, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Death Star Modules

Gil, Thanks for the compliments! To convey the Imperial style across the modules, it was essential to stick to the use of black, gray and dark gray bricks for consistency. There will be a few modules with different color scheme but definitely still (...) (21 years ago, 15-May-03, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: AT-AT online at S@H

(...) There aren't many panels on the AT-AT that _don't_ open (the rear actually opens so the speederbike can be loaded into the center of the cargo bay, with the steering vanes tucked up between the seat racks. The sides, top, and front of the (...) (21 years ago, 14-May-03, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: AT-AT online at S@H

(...) Your question has me baffled. My snowspeeder(s) came with orange pieces. In fact, it was the first time I'd seen LEGO orange. Are we still sure we're talking about the same set here? (URL) do you mean that Luke's speeder in the movie was (...) (21 years ago, 15-May-03, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: AT-AT online at S@H

(...) And that general attitude on behalf of many SW fans probably contributes greatly to TLC's stated intent of never releasing any EU sets. If there's not significant support for EU sets in the SW:LEGO fan community, there's no guarantee that any (...) (21 years ago, 15-May-03, to lugnet.starwars)

BioniWars: Jango Fetoa, Intergalactic Bricky Hunter

This is easily one of the better MOCs in my BioniWars series, and if he hadn't turned out so well I probably wouldn't have ever expanded the series beyond the first few: (URL) (21 years ago, 15-May-03, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, lugnet.announce, lugnet.build, lugnet.starwars)

  Re: AT-AT online at S@H

(...) Yeah, I've read about that. But from my point of view... if it ain't in the movies it ain't worth worrying about. ;) (...) But it's already been a set in the line. I think we're talking about the same set, right? This one: (URL) suggestion was (...) (21 years ago, 15-May-03, to lugnet.starwars)

  BioniWars: BatToa Droid

Getting into the more meaty BioniWars MOCs, I present the BatToa Droid, loosely based on the TOA design. Very loosely. Shaft Windu would have fallen down laughing if he saw an army of these guys advancing on him...   Re: AT-AT online at S@H

(...) We've never seen them anywhere but in ROTJ, but they also included one with the AT-TE based on the fact that there was an EP2 concept drawing showing one being ridden by a Clonetrooper (which I guess makes that the first official SW:EU LEGO (...)   Re: AT-AT online at S@H

(...) I believe so, but I think subsequent reference works (Incredible Cross-sections, etc.) say that the AT-AT carries a few. (...) I thought so to---actually not as a part of this set, but as an additional set in the line. Certainly a snowspeeder (...) (21 years ago, 14-May-03, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: AT-AT online at S@H

(...) Am I the only one who doesn't remember seeing speeder bikes during the Hoth battle scenes? I could be wrong, but didn't they first appear in Jedi? Regardless... I think a really neat idea would have been to include a rebel snow speeder along (...) (21 years ago, 14-May-03, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: AT-AT online at S@H

(...) Ahh ok, now I know what you're talking about. However, I always thought it was only applicable to the items shown in that particular catalogue. But I'm sure it doesn't hurt to try! Thanks for the pointer, -Bryan (21 years ago, 13-May-03, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: AT-AT online at S@H

(...) The LEGO Club Magazine (in the US anyway) regularly has a catalog code in it (sorry, shipping code was probably confusing) that is good for flat $2.95 shipping. Always an easy $7 off if you have a big order and are not using another catalog (...) (21 years ago, 13-May-03, to lugnet.starwars)

  AT-AT online at S@H

For those who prefer to place their orders on the internet, the much anticipated 4483 can now be found at S@H (US) online as well. Interestingly enough '4483' does not produce results from the Search box yet. Perhaps indexing needs to catch up or (...) (21 years ago, 13-May-03, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Death Star Modules

All of these look great so far, Amado. The concept is great, particularily since all your dioramas were just beggging to be joined together in some fashion. The best part about these, especially the conference room, is the wonderful sense of mood (...) (21 years ago, 13-May-03, to lugnet.starwars)
