Small typo in ISD Specs (was: Re: Newest UCS set...)

(...) It says that the "Height" is equal to "1,600 meters long" Now that would be a tall ship!! :-) - Bob (22 years ago, 25-Sep-02, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Newest UCS set...

(...) Yes, but what about a 13 year old? I wonder if I'm up to it... Well, if I skip Algebra homework for a week and fake sick a couple of days, then maybe I could find the time for it. eh, who am I kidding. Algebra, gets you every time. { : > ( (...) (22 years ago, 25-Sep-02, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Newest UCS set...

(...) Last time I remember watching ROTJ I recall the Big Executor Class a very light blue and not gray. While it wouldn't matter to me I sure as hell would rather see someone do a Deathstar to the scale of the Star Destroyer. I know someone did (...) (22 years ago, 25-Sep-02, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Newest UCS set...

(...) So does the official title of SW MOC Lord go to the one who successfully builds an Executor Class super star destroyer out of a few of these babies? -Mikey (22 years ago, 25-Sep-02, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Newest UCS set...

(...) Hmm, you're right. I don't expect many kids getting this set for Christmas, mostly cuz of the $269 price tag. However most of us AFOLs are going crazy over it. But Lego, if you're reading this, what most consumers want isn't necessarily a (...) (22 years ago, 25-Sep-02, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: UCS Imperial Star Destroyer to be released!!!! (was Re: Newest UCS set...)

I think we can safely call the UCS ISD the NEW "Ultimate Grey Plates Parts Pack" (UGPPP - yeehaw, Yet Another Acronym) ;-) I know I'm going to end up with at least 2, maybe 3 UGPPPs, as a start. One for at work, one possibly for at home, and one for (...) (22 years ago, 24-Sep-02, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: Newest UCS set...

(...) It's not a giant model as much as a bulk parts pack. Why would you leave the model assembled when you could use all those grey plates to build MOC's? (...) Blue also has this problem. --Bill. (22 years ago, 24-Sep-02, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Newest UCS set...

It's a dream come true but at a nightmarish cost. I'll have to pass. Tis a shame though...just one question: can it fit minifigs :-) (22 years ago, 24-Sep-02, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Newest UCS set...

Hi Why are all you out there so excited about a very expensive giant model in all light gray? I mean light gray is one of 2 colors (besides white) which is not very resistent against ageing and daylight. And trying to find a dark closet to store (...) (22 years ago, 24-Sep-02, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Newest UCS set...

(...) This is way groovy. I'd just like to take a moment to thank Bionicle for making Lego so much money, so they can afford to create sets like this that, while extremely popular among us AFOL's, will likely not sell too much to the kidfolk (3100 (...)
