Re: Who has the biggest fleet?

(...) You might want to check with your agent to see what they can do for you. I actually asked my insurance agent if they would cover my LEGO collection under my renter's insurance. He told me that I could just include it in the "hobby" category (...) (23 years ago, 26-Nov-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Starwars minifig scans posted to Locker99 (finally)

For those looking for reference information (set appearances, etc.) of Starwars minifigs, I've finally go them posted to my Locker99 reference site at: (URL) some old-timers here may know, this site is a kind of supplement/follow-on to the (...)   Re: Who has the biggest fleet?

(...) Well, my fleet's not the largest, but still pretty sizeable. Rebels: 2 A-Wings 3 Y-Wings 1 X-Wing 4 Snowspeeders Empire: 3 Darth's TIE Fighter 1 TIE Fighter 2 AT-ST 2 Imperial Shuttle 20 Speeder Bikes (10 sets) 3 Slave Ones (Does this count?) (...)   Re: Who has the biggest fleet?

(...) It may not be a LOT but it's quite solid: Two X-Wings, two Y-Wings, two Airspeeders, an A-Wing, and a Millenium Falcon. All of my models are hacked apart and rebuilt because frankly I can't stand the original designs. Most have about twice the (...) (23 years ago, 25-Nov-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Who has the biggest fleet?

(...) I'm not sure this is a useful question... bigger is not necessarily better. It's what you *do* with the parts that counts. By rights I have a bigger fleet than everything so far posted combined because I've bought hundreds of siths (and lots (...) (23 years ago, 24-Nov-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Star Wars v. Harry Potter

No Sandcrawler or Deathstar - looks like the major additions to the Star Wars line will be the top end (price wise) Rebel Blockade Runner, with mostly 'mini(figs)' sets added.   Re: Who has the biggest fleet?

Working my way up the price scale, I've only got one each of the Landspeeder, A-Wing, Snowspeeder, X-Wing, B-Wing, Tie, Speeder Bikes, Flash Speeder, Naboo Fighter, Droid FIghter, AT-ST, Droid Carrier, AAT and Sith Infiltrater, not to mention the (...)   Re: Who has the biggest fleet?

Joseph, you have successfully inflicted "fleet envy" on the less dedicated (poor) SW Lego collectors. Some quick number crunching has revealed the current dollar value invested in your Star Wars Lego arsenal: at least $2,195.00...equivalent to, (...) (23 years ago, 24-Nov-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Star Wars v. Harry Potter

(...) Well considering Hagrid was described in the book as "...twice as high as a normal man and five times as wide.), I am glad Chewbacca was a normal fig.   Re: Where’s Mo…?

(...) I was aware that she did a lot of free-lance writing work for the site, but I was unaware of the extent to which she was involved. (...)   Re: Star Wars v. Harry Potter

(...) It's just your imagination. ;) (...) Well, actually you've asked two questions. Is the line better? (as in are the sets better designed?) Or, are the pieces in one line of sets cooler than in the other. The Harry Potter sets may have cooler (...) (23 years ago, 24-Nov-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Star Wars v. Harry Potter

I guess my only real beef was the Falcon. In my opinion it was absolutely horrible. The minifigs were great though. I theorized that since Potter can be considered an extension of Lego's castle themes maybe they had better in house production on it. (...) (23 years ago, 23-Nov-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Star Wars v. Harry Potter

Wow. I didn't realize the ewoks were smaller. They look the same size as the rest of em. Veddy cool. I'm not into the potter stuff but of course I had to get em all. Fluffy is quite nifty. Its frustrating to see info about sets float around but not (...) (23 years ago, 23-Nov-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Star Wars v. Harry Potter

(...) My impression was exactly the opposite. SW line (ESPECIALLY the 1999 sets) were amazingly done. There was little if any juniorization, and the sets were *much* more accurate than I would have expected. Granted it's since gone downhill a (...) (23 years ago, 23-Nov-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Star Wars v. Harry Potter

(...) I know. Yes the Ewoks and the goblins from Gringott's bank are described as mini-minifigs. And Hagrid (the big brown guy) is significantly larger than a human or Chewbacca. Chewie was a head or two taller than Han right? Hagid is 9 1/2 or 10 (...) (23 years ago, 23-Nov-01, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Where’s Mo…?

I personally don't know - but having been asked the question myself numerous times I know that she ran a big GameBoy site. With the new GameBoy Advance out, it wouldn't surprise me if she was busy with it. Tim (URL) (23 years ago, 23-Nov-01, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.people)
