I'm working a few of these ideas, but basically I was annoyed at how *SMALL* it was (the DDK) so I've started making a "life" sized R2 simmilar to Eric Harshburger's and the one at Legoland, but this won't be a static sculpture. Woo hoo! My favorite type of piece as a kid is going to return in the AT-ST set! The 2x2 reverse slope printed as a monitor/control panel! Ok, so this one is a wee bit Star Wars specific... but still, it means I can hold out hope of seeing a more (...) (24 years ago, 28-Nov-00, to lugnet.starwars)
