  Re: Soccer Promo, possibly German

Hi, Well, I finally got around scanning this... again, here's what I found. (...) (URL) you might notice, it has the Shell symbol on it. The only four digit number anywhere on the bag is a small-print 3306. And indeed, when I searched on lugnet I (...) (24 years ago, 9-Sep-00, to lugnet.sports, lugnet.promo, lugnet.general)

Re: Stickers from other countries -- in particular Japan!

(...) I hope so, but in the meantime I just discovered that you can download the sticker graphics from the official LEGO site. The English version of the sticker page was giving me errors, but the German version loaded fine. Here is the URL: (URL) (...) (24 years ago, 9-Sep-00, to lugnet.sports)

Re: Stickers from other countries -- in particular Japan!

(...) Is it just me, or does 3407 come with only 2 countries? I have 4 of these sets (ordered at dfifferent times) and I don't have stickers for Switzerland, Belgium and Wales. (...) I wonder if you call S@H, if you can request additionnal sticker (...) (24 years ago, 8-Sep-00, to lugnet.sports)

Stickers from other countries -- in particular Japan!

Hello all! The US Shop @ Home catalog makes available 20 different sets of national stickers for the players' uniforms, 5 countries each in #3404, #3405, #3406, and #3407. In particular, the list for #3406 is the USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, and (...) (24 years ago, 8-Sep-00, to lugnet.sports)

  Re: Good Experience

I will agree with you on that! Matt is exceptional when it comes to straight sales and I am very happy with the World Cup sets I purchased from him. Thanks again, Matt!! Dan (...) (24 years ago, 1-Sep-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade, lugnet.sports)

Re: Juniorization, again (was Play wear?)

(...) Maybe, but there is at least one 1999 set that is not juniorized- the 3051 Blaze Attack. I only had to pay $18.00 for the 143 pieces- in Canada. It was very fun to build. I was thinking, this thing is better than Dragon Masters. And if a 1999 (...) (24 years ago, 31-Aug-00, to lugnet.sports)

  Re: That Adidas football player

(...) Don't know about the "rest of Europe" but the Zidane minifig is in the 3401 in Australia. The initial Aus 2000 catalog and the set boxes showed only the standard stripey minifigs, although the Zidane fig was actually included. Now he's shown (...) (24 years ago, 29-Aug-00, to lugnet.sports)

  Re: That Adidas football player

(...) My girlfriend went to France, and brought me home two 3401 sets- both have the Zidane minifig. I don't know his status in the rest of Europe, though. eric (24 years ago, 27-Aug-00, to lugnet.sports)

  That Adidas football player

Hello all! I'm trying to find that Zidane character, who apparently comes with 3401 (according to the BrickSet database). Around here (Canada), 3401 comes with a red, white and blue regular Joe. Is Zidane only available in Europe? Or from Shop @ (...) (24 years ago, 27-Aug-00, to lugnet.sports)

  Good Experience

Just a quick post stating that I had a very good experience dealing with Matt Chiles, who offers straight sales of rare sets. (He calls it 'The Vault') For anyone looking for World Cup sets, he's got 'em! (24 years ago, 23-Aug-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade, lugnet.sports)

  Re: A field arrangement Question!

  Re: Play wear?

(...) Well Mikohl, I've been disgusted with TLG changing the way they make their Lego for the past 2 years. Too many individual characters are one of the things I don't like. In the past, Lego themes had very few characters. Pirates for example only (...) (24 years ago, 13-Aug-00, to lugnet.sports)

  Re: Play wear?

(...) Well I do agree with your concern, but I don't think that anyone with a used soccer set will have to worry about the kicking pieces getting old or anything anytime soon. If they had to worry about that, they should go buy an expansion pack or (...) (24 years ago, 12-Aug-00, to lugnet.sports)
