Maybe, but there is at least one 1999 set that is not juniorized- the 3051
Blaze Attack. I only had to pay $18.00 for the 143 pieces- in Canada. It was
very fun to build. I was thinking, this thing is better than Dragon Masters.
And if a 1999 set compares with a 1993 subtheme, its a good set. It has a good
range of piece sizes and shapes, and it really doesn't use many shortcuts.
Plus it doesn't have over-characterization either, just two nameless and
identicla red ninjas. The only con is that the cannon has to pretty much point
to the ground to drop the cannonball, rendering it useless. Who cares though,
you get a fire-breathing dragon and giant axes! Its a very good set.
