Re: awfully quiet here. —Duane Hess
(...) I thought it was quiet too. I'm not building a ship yet though. I'm still trying to map everything out. On paper at least, it looks like my ship will be roughly 32 studs wide X 90 studs or so long. More than likely I'm headed toward a (...) (25 years ago, 28-Dec-99, to lugnet.space)

Re: awfully quiet here. —Paul Davidson
The main hull of my ship is going to be about 30x60, with four decks (each about 6 bricks high). With all the other stuff I'm trying to squeeze in, I haven't figured out yet how to fit in living quarters for 30 crew members. Maybe I have too many (...)         Re: awfully quiet here. —Duane Hess
(...) I am still working with a crew of 4. I find that I have a better time matching accessories to the minifigs easier that way. How are you doing the interface between the decks of your ship? I can never figure out a way to make the upper decks (...) (25 years ago, 29-Dec-99, to lugnet.space)

Re: awfully quiet here. —Paul Davidson
The main "frame" of my ship will resemble a crib -- a kind of boxy framework, using technic beams. The base of this framework will be the floor the lowest deck ("Blue Level"), with cargo holds, launch bay, and such. The three decks above will (...) (25 years ago, 30-Dec-99, to lugnet.space)

Re: awfully quiet here. —Lindsay Frederick Braun
(...) Why do you have to choose between conventional and Technic? Mix'n'match! It sounds like a good concept, though. I'll be interested in how it comes out! Mine will unfortunately not begin construction until at least 10 January. (...) That's a (...) (25 years ago, 30-Dec-99, to lugnet.space)

Re: awfully quiet here. —Ed T. Toton III
(...) about Oh yeah! I've seen that... It's been a while though. I'll have to watch it again sometime. I think for my ship, if I even make one (and I can't start until at least January 10th), I'll probably make a "command module" that consists of a (...) (25 years ago, 31-Dec-99, to lugnet.space)

(...) I'm actually having to buy most of my pieces bulk through eBay and Baylit...I don't have nearly enough of white 1xN's and other such pieces. -- Paul Davidson (25 years ago, 31-Dec-99, to lugnet.space)
