  Racers sneak peek

Hi everyone, I uploaded a pic to Brickshelf of my latest building theme... racers! I'll take better photos later on once I get the kitchen table cleaned off so I can take pics on it :^) (URL) to come... ~Grand Admiral Muffin Head (23 years ago, 21-Mar-01, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Racers sneak peek

(...) Looks as though the Admiral will be needing storage for assorted R2 units and Droid Fighter wings. Cool details on the engines, that's the best of these designs, other than color schemes (very racy). I think that the black/orange one does need (...) (23 years ago, 21-Mar-01, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Racers sneak peek

(...) Yes, they've run rampant, I'm afraid. (...) Thanks. :^) (...) The track was a bit dusty. I'll send a crew of Timbots out to take care of it. :^) ~Grand Admiral Muffin Head (23 years ago, 21-Mar-01, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Racers sneak peek

(...) Interesting sketch (pink paper, right hand side). Does that indicate that you sketch out ideas before building, or is it just a doodle? eric (23 years ago, 21-Mar-01, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Racers sneak peek

Great looking racers. Are they space, atmospheric, or both? I really like the spiral drills on the Black racer's engines. The clever use of ski's on the Red one is also great. Sean (...) (23 years ago, 21-Mar-01, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Racers sneak peek

(...) They're supposed to be the same sort of low-atmospheric hovercraft sort of thing like a podracer. (...) Thanks. :^) I've actually used the skis-on-engines method a few times before. It's one of my favorites. ~Grand Admiral Muffin Head (23 years ago, 21-Mar-01, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Racers sneak peek

Finally my XP-21 will have something to race against. Cool models Admiral, or is that Grand Admiral? I would like to put together some of these types of models again, building the XP was a lot of fun. But first I have to focus on a couple of six (...) (23 years ago, 21-Mar-01, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Racers sneak peek

(...) Once again you've come up with some great craft, Mark. I like them all and can't say one is better than another, though I like the colors of the Green and White one. Kinda reminds me of Seafair.... Seafair 2052, that is... <G> Joel J (23 years ago, 21-Mar-01, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Racers sneak peek

(...) Impressive ship Mark. Each one has a different look, yet they all look like racers. Excellent work on the engines of each one. Though I'm partial to the green ship for some reason. Bryce (23 years ago, 21-Mar-01, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Racers sneak peek

(...) Hmm, I guess I always thought that was a fighter. Maybe you have a fighter that looks like it? Anyhoo, looks good. :^) (...) I have a Nikon 950. It's expensive, but worth it, IMO. :^) ~Grand Admiral Muffin Head (23 years ago, 22-Mar-01, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Racers sneak peek

(...) Hmmm, people seem to like the green one. I dunno. :^) Thanks! ~Grand Admiral Muffin Head (23 years ago, 22-Mar-01, to lugnet.space)

(...) Heh, lots of people like the green one! Thanks for the compliments! ~Grand Admiral Muffin Head (23 years ago, 22-Mar-01, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Racers sneak peek

(...) Yo Dogg, Awwyeah! So that's what you was talkin' 'bout! Yeah, I dig the black and orange one's shape so far (still needs final "Sandlinization." So what are they for, atmosphere or space racing? Pretty t-zite! Word to yo mutha, D-Man, chillin' (...) (23 years ago, 22-Mar-01, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Racers sneak peek

(...) Actually, it has my typical detailing, but you can't really see it from the top view. :^) (...) Low Atmospheric podracing kinda thing. ~Grand Admiral Muffin Head (23 years ago, 22-Mar-01, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Racers sneak peek

Hmmm. Y'know, with the abandoning of my latest project until I get more red bricks, I've been in a little slump. But with your pics and some of the new parts I got on K-mart Clearance and I think you may have spurred my out of it. In other words, (...) (23 years ago, 22-Mar-01, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Racers sneak peek

(...) I've always figured space drag racing would be an interesting proposition. In car drag racing, you work against limits of how much power your car can put to the ground and have the wheels not spin freely. In space drag racing, you work against (...)
