Thanks!  There are actually two.  The ship is symmetical down the center
split plane.

Do you mean sensors, armor and exterior do-dads, or interior features?  If
the ship is sectional or able to be opened, then truly interior detail would
be good (i.e. things for the crew to keep busy with).  As to exterior,
please don't think that I dislike your design (I'm working on something
similar), but the peppering of weaponry on the exterior seems to be strictly
on the upper decks (dorsal side).

Yup.. you hit it on the nail.  My approach is very sea faring...you're not
the first to notice that.  Well, I can add some outcrops like I did on the
Mark 3 to reposition some of the additional laser turrets to the side of the
main forward bay and the behind the docking ring.  The main guns (not the
main turrets) are fixed beam cannons at the very front, along with a
functional torpedo launcher.  I can make the smaller turrets point down as
well as up for better coverage too.

The ship is modular, and there will be a lot of interior detail.  I have
pretty much completed the interior of the engineering section, engine module
and the elevator module, coplete with warp core.  The primary living
quarters/escape pod module is done in terms of the rooms, but there is
nothing in the rooms yet.  And of course the bridge deck has yet to be
built. Right now I have an elevator to the Bricge deck, that's it.

If you were to
re-position the exterior sensors, do-dads (highly technical term :o) and
weaponry to provide more of a 360 degree coverage, I think it would achieve
a truly formidable profile.

Ok...when I finish the basic form of the ship, I'll add more side mounted
"hard mounts" for downward facing gun turrets and sensor arrays.

Hat is off to you for undertaking what is one of the most difficult of
constructions!  Truly, anything made of ABS as a single object that
approaches the size of your bed is way cool!
Best wishes!
Aaron

:)  (beaming)  Thanks again!
