What? No new non-Star Wars Space set for 2000? This would be 2 years
running that there hasn't been (non-Star Wars) Space sets. Granted, the
last 2 themes (Aliens, Insectoids) weren't too great, but I hope they
aren't discontinuing the line. There are, I hope, more to come that
isn't based on a movie or book or whatever. And no, Launch, Rock
Raiders and Artic aren't substitutes for proper Space sets.
Wishlist (for new Space theme - hint! hint! TLG):
1. A futron-like subtheme coloured orange/white - complete with orange
futron figs!
2. A black them with opaque and trans-dark blue highlights. However
give the theme a name that doesn't start with the prefix "Black".
3. A orange/blue theme complete with trans-orange for a volcano planet
4. A green and white (more green than white) space/asteroid mining theme
5. Chrome coated satellites and orbiting stations
*keeping fingers crossed*
Simon.

| (...) There is something in the starwars licence that forbids TLG from making other space sets while they are making starwars sets. -- Jonathan Wilson wilsonj@xoommail.com (URL) (25 years ago, 16-Nov-99, to lugnet.space)
