Those interiors are awesomely done, congratulations! I especially like the

Thanks, Paul!

How did you get such low-angle shots of some of those rooms? Do you
deconstruct the walls/sides of the ship, or are some of the rooms removable?
|
For the shuttle bay pics, I took some of the pics through the entry to the bay.
I even took a couple with the camera inside the bay. I got the low angle on the
bridge pics by removing the front windows. Whenever possible, I prefer to take
pics at minifig eye level. I think it brings the viewer into the model more and
reveals some of the functional detail I try to incorporate into my interiors. I
dont really like overhead pics that much unless its for an establishing shot
followed by more detailed pics. Someday, I should try a cap ship with
multi-levels and removable side panels for cut-away views instead of the usual
overhead stuff.

Are the hatches to the escape pods visible in the current pics? There are so
many details I think I missed them :-)

Yes, heres a pic with a minifig in the escape pod access doorway (red), with
escape pod hatch closed:
Heres the escape pod hatch open, with minifig inside the pod:
