    SHOTTLE! —Mike Crowley
Are you a minifig who dreams of the stars, but is stuck living on a down-to-earth budget? "Why, yes, I am!" Are you tired of spending your hard-earned credits booking passage on noisy and uncomfortable inter-planetary public transportation? "Boy, am (...)      (...) Hello !! Great Idea !! Very Interesting concepts !! The OLD Colours ? The NEW Colours ? Let's find a way to match everything in the end or the beginning. Thanks, Teunis. (20 years ago, 27-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Bwahahaa! That is amazing...I love it! When the 'blooooop!' slide came up, I literally laughed out loud and almost blew my work cover. What I love the most about this is that it's such a simple and fun idea that is truly 'thinking outside the (...) (20 years ago, 27-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Cool, I'm glad you like the cargo sloop! It really just started out as simple grey platform with a railing to test the dimensions of the inside of the can, but after a while it became a MOC of it's own. And, I just had to sneak some Bionicle (...) (20 years ago, 28-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Wow! those lids can be used. By the way, that is a really complex thing that you have put together there. Really cool, really funny. I am amazed that you were able to think this up, those parts all together, I'm babbling 'cause it boggles my mind. (...) (20 years ago, 27-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

         Re: SHOTTLE! —John Ladasky
(...) Yes, those lids can be used. I have a half-finished MOC that uses one of the lids. But alas, Mike beat me to the punch, and with a darn good (and funny!) TechWest MOC, no less. Sigh. Congrats, Mike! John Ladasky (20 years ago, 27-Aug-04, to lugnet.space)

        Re: SHOTTLE! —Jordan Bradford
From the Count's website: "You don’t just have to put ships inside. For example, you could make little rooms/habitats that fit inside each container. Using the six Technic axel holes on the outer side of the lid (which still accept axels even with (...) (20 years ago, 27-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

         Re: SHOTTLE! —Mike Crowley
(...) One? Yikes, now I feel like such a Bionicle victim: I've got about 60-70 of them. :-) That housing complex idea is just the kind of thing I was thinking of. If stood on end and used as a base, the lid can have bricks attached directly to it, (...) (20 years ago, 27-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

         Re: SHOTTLE! —David Laswell
(...) Pfft. Amateur... I probably only have 40-50 Nuva cans, but I'm well over 100 for the originals. Of course, they pale in comparison to my Bohrok Va purchases. I think I had about 50 of them already when KB dropped the price to $1 each, so I (...) (20 years ago, 28-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

         Re: SHOTTLE! —Mike Crowley
(...) That settles it: I'm coming over your house to play! ;-) That's how I get all my Bionicle, too -- on clearance. I usually only pick up a bunch here and there as I need the particular colors for something I want to build, like if I'm running (...) (20 years ago, 28-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

         Re: SHOTTLE! —David Laswell
(...) As odd as this might sound, it's really not as play-friendly as you might think. I live in a tiny little upstairs apartment (it feels a bit cramped at times, but I don't have to split the rent, so I don't have any roommates complaining about (...)      That rawks. You should have kept it from us to win a lame parts contest :P So, how did you go about getting rid of the label adhesive that they so generously slathered all over the container? Kevin (20 years ago, 28-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

         Re: SHOTTLE! —David Laswell
(...) Goo Gone works pretty well. You can also reduce the amount of goo that you need to clean off by chucking it in the freezer for a few hours before you peel the label free. (20 years ago, 28-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

         Re: SHOTTLE! —Mike Crowley
(...) I tried using Goo Gone and some other citrus-type remover, but I noticed the they often clouded the clear canisters up (I'm guessing that the citric acid in the remover eats away at the plastic surface slightly). The way I do it now leaves the (...) (20 years ago, 29-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

         Re: SHOTTLE! —David Laswell
(...) Did you wash the Goo Gone off afterwards? I do (by hand with a tiny amount of dish soap, though glass-cleaner will also work) because I don't like the slick oily feel, but I know that citrus-based cleaners will cloud the surface of ABS over (...)         Re: SHOTTLE! —Anthony Sava
That was too funny! I have to admit while sitting here going through the first pages, I was stumped as to where you were taking this funny round brown hubcap attached to the back end of your ship. In fact I didn't even recognize what the hubcap was (...) (20 years ago, 28-Aug-04, to lugnet.space)
