Re: Not quite deja vu: Teardrop Racer

(...) Hey! This looks fantastic!! I like the color scheme on this one so much better than the first ones! I think yellow is an underused color, and you've done quite well with it. -Dan Rubin Chair of the cyber-braintrust (URL) (22 years ago, 25-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Not quite deja vu: Teardrop Racer

(...) Thank you! And speaking of R2, I was thinking of you last week when I put this together: (URL) Is it just me, or does he look like he just robbed a bank and is looking forward to spending that cash? (...) Hmm, you may be on to something there. (...) (22 years ago, 24-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: EBKD Zhukov Class Assault Shuttle

(...) (HACK SLASH BURN PILLAGE SNIP) Cool. I could name the stuff I like, but everyone else has covered most of that. What I like best about this model is the depth of the design: every weird choice you made makes absolute sense :). I really dig the (...) (22 years ago, 24-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Starship Corridor Study Model

(...) Excellent bulkheads and other details. This is a good way to start an MOC; I look forward to seeing where you go with it or with the ideas it leads to. I think that many larger ships get built for the outside and the overall form. Then there (...) (22 years ago, 24-Mar-04, to lugnet.space)

Re: Not quite deja vu: Teardrop Racer

(...) Hi Tony. I really like these two ships; the shape is very compelling. The landing gear have an echo of the R2 droid feet to them. The triple arm hinges look cool and the wide stance with the high side mounting gives it an overall low-slung (...) (22 years ago, 24-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Space MOC: Teardrop

(...) Wow... two responses so far, and they're both complaining about the colors. I'd probably just dismiss it if you didn't both mention it in no uncertain terms. Perhaps this sounds dense, but in all seriousness I'd like to know exactly what you (...) (22 years ago, 24-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Not quite deja vu: Teardrop Racer

Here's a color variant on the (URL) Teardrop>, the Teardrop Racer in Naboo Starfighter colors (yellow/grey/chrome): (3 URLs) Yes, even with its feature flaws I liked the look of this design so much that I built 3.   Re: 3vil Skull Drive etc. (was Re: Jeff Szklennik's T'Kunce Drive IRL)

(...) Well, it'll make a nice echo. Six is better than empty, after all. (...) Well, since they're *dark* pink, I would say it's some sort of gnawed spamcake. I don't think I want to know any more than that, thanks. :) -Mike (22 years ago, 24-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: 3vil Skull Drive etc. (was Re: Jeff Szklennik's T'Kunce Drive IRL)

(...) Um, I know about the problem, but I share these as a community service. Really, I'm not trying to show off.(1) You will note that there have never been two drives in the same picture. I do have enough for two, but I have to decide which one's (...) (22 years ago, 24-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)
