Awesome work. That ship is smooooooooooth! I really like off-center cockpit

Heh... smooth. Considering the inspiration for the shape, that’s very
appropriate. My inspiration came initially from a bar of worn soap with a
bubble on the top. You know how they get rounded on the ends and just a bit
thinner in the middle? Yeah, that’s a bar of soap in there. Perhaps nobody
else can see it, but I still do. There is an embarrassing story in there
somewhere about getting caught whooshing around a bar of soap, but I’m not going
into that in this forum...
And yes- I realize that the bubble canopy
“goofifies” virtually any ship you put it on (up to a certain size- on a big
ship it doesn’t dominate the shape). But although I tried all 3 colors of
bubbles that I have, it never even occurred to me to use something else.
