I hope to get the chassis finalized soon, that way I can get to the fun • part

I love building insides ;-)
If I ever build another vehicle, I´ll make it more like Lawrence did his. My
first was very big but most of it was solid ABS.

My largest was another project that *almost* got completed. I built it after
seeing Terry's ULV-017. I have about four pictures (but no scanner). I killed
the project when a vehicle I had built wouldn't fit under the chassis and onto
the elevator.

see the small vehicle here:
http://www.geocities.com/EnchantedForest/Creek/1006/suv2.html

Here's what it had that I can recall from memory:

Six wheels
Fully articulated suspension (using pneumatic cylinders)
Working cargo elevator
Working pneumatic pump
Sliding door in starboard side
Cockpit airlock
Science lab
Crew quarters for 4

Overall, it was huge! A minifig could walk under it without bending over, so
it must have had about a six brick ground clearance. The width was about 16-18
studs plus the wheels and suspension, so about 30 total. The length was long.
I would guess that it was 100-120 studs long.

I would be glad to post the pictures if I can find them and get them scanned.
