Hello all,
After the false alarm stories and finding that I wouldnt be promoted
cause I didnt really get everyone to safety, I now wonder how to get
promoted without eating donuts or something like that. Please let me know.
Cheers (*waves blaster*)

how you get your rank is your own business.
but ill tell you how i got my rank. i was promoted by Adm.Giddens for
excellence in building (i think). Adm. Giddens was promoted by the Grand
Adm. Sandlin. The Grand Admiral has been Grand Admiral every since he
helped invent Spamcake Drive http://news.lugnet.com/space/?n=5174 , but he
was a Grand Admiral before, too. I guess hes just always been the Grand
Admiral.
Or you could go the Napoleon1 - Adm.Wells 2 way and promote yourself.
But I personally believe in hardwork, creative building, and krispy kreme
doughnuts.
1= Napoleon, as we all know, crowned himself Emperor of France, but whos
gonna argue with the Emperor?

I resent that!
Dean, it really isnt that important. People dont care whether youre a
Grand Admiral, Donut Admiral, or King of the Fleebnork Fighters. The
importance is what you build, how you build it, and how you contribute to the
.space community.
Hey Admirals!
Since you dont think Im in your league, accept my resignation and Ill go
back to being captain of my squadron.
Also, how do you define contributing to the .space community? I mean, Chris
Giddens creations are awesome, but I know hes got a lot more bricks than
me! Are you worthy only of Admiralship if you have tons of bricks, and make
big ships?
Hope theres no hard feelings...

Yes, define contributions.
By the loose rules here I guess my rank is Troll, because I do not contribute my
creations to .space. Mostly because I never get any positive feedback from
LUGNET regarding those. I post my creation elsewhere for my own pleasure, but
I dont show em off. I generally only contribute information and casual banter
here on .space. I do not attend Fests due to an unsympathetic spouse (thinks
my LEGO is POOP), but my collection and creations are marvy by my standards and
a few others.
Lately Ive found more in common with other fan sites out there on that World
Wide Wow.
Does this confirm my opinion that Im just a number to the LUGNET community?
