Ah, you've found my flaw.  Actually, there is enough flexibility in the bricks
that you can pull the door open without too much pressure.  Closing it again is
a bit of a pain, though.  But, hey, you want a pretty airtight door, right?  I
mean, they are driving around on the surface of the moon.  :)
