This might be good for corridors where equipment runs through, but I think
it takes up a lot of real estate for minifig use. Generally, major
transportation devices such as trains and their like would run on the
outside of a module where the number of safety devices, supporting
structures and life support equipment would be reduced or shared with
another system (e.i. the roof). At least in my world....
I seem to recall someone else suggesting a "variance" on the corridore
connection. I believe that the consensus was that it's OK to have a
non-standard corridore connection within your modules so long as there was
at least one standard connection to connect to modules made by other
builders. This ensures interconnectivity throughout the moonbase.
Don't get me wrong. I think your corridor is good - there's nothing wrong
with it. It just won't match up with the other modules without some type of
adapter, which effectively negates the purpose behind the larger corridor.
